WHO: EVERYONE (No, really. If you know Marcus or know someone who knows Marcus or have a third cousin whose brother once dated a girl that snogged Marcus...you're totally invited.)
WHAT: Impromptu Party
WHERE: Marcus's House
WHEN: Sunday Evening; 3 April 2002
RATING: NC-17 for the comment thread with Marcus. R for everything else.
STATUS: In progress

Marcus wasn't sure why he was having a party. He really didn't like hosting them. Mostly because he didn't like people touching his shit. He was a pretty possessive person and the thought of people he didn't like touching things he did like just drove him absolutely mental. But it had been a while since anyone else had had a worthwhile party so he decided to take the initiative for once. Mostly because he wanted to get drunk and laid and what better way to accomplish both other having a huge party? And plus, his place was big enough that it would comfortable hold an incredibly amount of people. His bedroom was warded off from everyone except for himself and Warrington but the rest of his house was fair game. He figured if anything got destroyed he could replace it later.

He had two full service bars set up, one in the reception room and one in the kitchen, which made a bar available....for every five floors. Not that they were huge floors. And honestly, he was glad there were a lot of stairs in his place. It kept the overly overweight people from bothering to come. Not that he'd let any of them in if he could help it in the first place. He liked to actually enjoy what he looked at. People had started showing up fairly early, most of which he really didn't know personally. He knew Clint would show up eventually. Probably Keeley and Adrian. Possibly the Greengrasses. And he really and truly hoped Bell's loose sounding sister showed. She seemed fun from Clint's description. Of course, it might be a bit rough to get past the whole her being related to Bell thing....but if she was as cute as Clint made her out to be, he had a feeling it wouldn't be that difficult of a task.

Clint was already drinking at the bar and had already managed to shoot back four shots. Shaking his head, he glanced around the room, not at all surprised by the number of women that had shown up. Course, when word got out Flint was having a party, well, it didn't take long for the slaggy bints to make their way out of the wood work and that was more than fine with him. There was a particularly cute, petite blond that he'd been talking about earlier and he was glad she'd gotten his owl.

Sarah Bell was deceptive. She wasn't exactly the brightest or played dumb better than any other woman he'd ever met but he enjoyed her and knew she was always up for a bit of fun. He wasn't sure how she'd managed to escape Flint's attention but perhaps all three of them could find a way to enjoy each other. He nodded at Marcus, eyes flickering back to Sarah. Sarah Bell he mouthed, grabbing a couple of drinks and heading over. He knew there'd be nothing under that deceptively cute dress and he had every intention of making certain he was right.

Marcus had been watching the crowd, taking shots when girls came up and handed them to him, but he hadn't actually spent any time paying much attention to anyone past a quick once over. The usual Falcons slags had come out, a good number he sort of recognized. And a good portion of them had clearly brought along their friends. Marcus made a mental note that next time he was horny, he was just throwing another party. This was just too easy.

His attention was finally caught, however, by Warrington mouthing something at him. Marcus narrowed his eyes to try to make out what he was saying, but Marcus was shite at lip reading. Then Marcus looked at the girl he was with and it all clicked into place. That must be Bell's sister. She looked.....well, hot. A little like Bell only with a million improvements. But she also looked incredibly...nice and sweet. Was this really the girl Warrington had been talking about? When they came over, however, Marcus gave the girl a charming smile after giving a quick nod of his head to Warrington. "I don't think we've met yet. Marcus Flint," he said once his attention was back on the girl. He held his hand out to take hers in way of a greeting.

Sarah had argued with her sister for a good twenty minutes when she'd read over Katie's journal about the party that was going down. Marcus Flint was gorgeous and Sarah had no issue with his house or anything. She thought that was all a mess of idiocy and someone as good looking as Clint Warrington and Marcus Flint should be taken advantage of. She'd tasted Warrington multiple times and had enjoyed every moment of it. Flint, however, hadn't really paid her much attention. They'd been the same year in school and she wasn't surprised he didn't remember her. She hadn't exactly been as attractive as she was now.

Smiling, Sarah extended her hand. "Sarah Bell," she said, taking a sip of the drink Warrington had brought her. She loved the attention. Girls were shooting envious looks at her and she figured she'd get her fun in before her prudish sister decided to ruin it. "I believe you know my sister." Merlin, he was attractive. Her eyes flickered between the men. "I'm a big fan."

When she extended her hand, Marcus gently took it and place a small kiss on the back of her hand, before letting it go. Really, it was such a bad habit when he was trying to be polite. And while some girls found it cheesy, some really went for it. "Nice to meet you," he said with a charming smirk. It faded slightly however when she brought up her sister. Why would she go and do an annoying thing like that? "Right. Your sister seemed very sure that you weren't going to be here. I'm glad she has a habit of constantly being wrong," he said with a shrug as he picked up his glass of whiskey from the counter behind him and took a drink.

His somewhat cocky smirk was back on his face, however, as soon as she said she was a big fan. "Attractive and good taste when it comes to Quidditch. How is it we haven't met before?" he asked. "Clint must have been hoping to keep you to himse;f," he said somewhat playfully. Not that he would have blamed Clint if that's what he'd really been doing. If you ignored the whole being a Bell thing, she really was quite a catch. Though, her innocent get up was still catching him slightly off guard.

Keeley had seen the journal entry Marcus had posted. Something about a party. His parties were usually a good time. Clint and Marcus usually proved to be quite entertaining. Keeley got dressed up, something she really only ever did for parties. She apparated over to the flat.

Once inside, Keeley made her way over to the nearest bar and grabbed a drink. Looking around she tried to spot either Clint or Marcus. There were a fair number of people at the party already which wasn't surprising. People usually showed up to parties Quidditch players threw because well, they were Quidditch players.

Clint grabbed a couple of drinks and headed towards Keeley. They had an interesting relationship. He considered one of his closest friends and with the added benefit of getting to fuck her soundly, well, it was a good friendship. And, well, she'd been there for him. Handing her a drink, he grinned, leaning down, brushing a kiss over her ear, sliding his arm around her waist. "I love it when you dress up."

She looked adorable and he loved her in a dress. It made it so much easier to get inside of her. Of course, things had changed a little since she started playing for the Falcons but Keys wasn't the relationship type and had never demanded anything from him and he appreciated that more than she'd ever know.

Keeley smiled when she noticed Clint making his way over. She had been hoping he wasn't off with some other girl already. Not that she ever cared that he flirted, snogged, or shagged other girls. It just meant that she wouldn't have to sit around bored while the Quidditch groupies glared at her. She was used to the glares though. Being the only female on the Falcons earned her a lot of dislike from their female fans. She frankly didn't give a shite.

"I know you do," she said. She took the drink he offered her before leaning up to brush a kiss on his jaw. "And you know I don't dress up often." She took a sip of the drink and smiled at him. They had a very odd relationship but it worked out for them. "So, where's your other half? I was sure you two would be attached at the hip tonight."

He slid his arms around her waist, pulling her against him, resting his chin on her head, hands slowly sliding down her back. Keys was just easy to be around and he appreciated that. No demands, nothing. It was good and he was glad she was here. If anything, it'd keep the annoying bints off his back for a while because he really wasn't in the mood to deal with a bunch of slaggy girls. At least, not right now. Maybe in another bottle or so.

"He's off seducing Bell's sister," he said, glancing back at them and shaking his head. Sarah was fun and feisty and an excellent shag. Still, there was something about her he didn't quite trust. Perhaps it was the oh-so-innocent act. He pulled her back, wrapping his arms around her.

Katie looked around Marcus's flat, eyes wide as she stared at the old church tower. What the bloody hell was this place? It was ridiculous and completely over the top and purely Marcus Flint. Well, what she imagined he'd be like. She wasn't sure why she'd bothered coming. Her sister had mentioned she planned on going and Katie felt like she needed to make sure that Sarah stayed out of trouble. Ali had seemed like she wanted to go, so, here they were.

"You know," she said, looking upward. "Marcus Flint living in an old church tower is possibly the strangest thing I've ever encountered. Aside from the fact that we willingly showed up to one of his parties." Her eyes scanned the crowd, instantly falling on her sister and Marcus Flint. Eyes narrowing, she crossed her arms over her chest. "It's like she just wants everyone to think she's a slaggy whore."

Alicia loved Slytherin parties. She hated Slytherins, but Merlin could they throw a party. She'd been to a party at Flint's once and it had been, well, really fucking entertaining. She was glad that Katie had ended up coming out and hoped that Geoff and Drew did as well. Sure, it wasn't any of their usual scenes, but there was shit loads of free alcohol and enough slaggy bints to make fun of for years.

"Marcus Flint living in an old church is the only bloody thing I like about the bloke. It cracks me the fuck up," Alicia said, completely amused by the whole idea. She grabbed two beers from one of the bars and handed one to Katie. Her attention went over to Sarah and Flint and Alicia nearly hurt herself with the force with which she rolled her eyes. "So let her be a slaggy whore. Flint'll use her and get rid of her. Maybe it'll teach her a lesson."

Katie smiled and shook her head, unable to even believe that she was here. "I can't believe I let you drag me here," she said, disgusted by her sister. "I don't want to watch this." Watching Sarah be an idiot was not on her list of things to do and somehow, here she was. Maybe Ken would show up and bring her leftovers. She was hungry, as per usual. Food and Katie went together like milk and cookies.

"Do you think there's anything to eat here?" she asked, taking a drink of her beer. It was cold and not really her style but if everyone else was, well, she didn't want to stand out anymore than she already did with her absurd height. "Sarah's lost her bloody mind," she muttered, watching her and Flint.

Alicia watched with something akin to disbelief and horror as Marcus Flint lead Sarah Bell past them and up the stairs. Oh fucking hell. That had taken what, ten seconds? Not even? Well this just had disaster written all over it and Alicia couldn't wait to see the aftermath. Someone was getting destroyed with this little arrangement and she couldn't wait for the endless entertainment that it would inevitably lead to.

"Well.....there goes that," Alicia said with a shrug as she took a huge swig of her beer, watching the two disappear up the stairs. Sure, Flint was attractive. But it was Marcus fucking Flint. What an awful human being. "You seriously need to have a talk with your sister about her taste in men."

Astoria had mixed feelings about this party. For one, Marcus was the host. This meant that all manor of sleezy fangirls were going to show up, their brains as developed as the backend of a Niffler, but pretty enough for the entire team to shag. On the other hand, it was better than going over her notes and practicing her charms. A party meant alcohol, which meant a bit of relaxation and hopefully someone wither talking to.

Having changed into a purple corset-style top and a matching black skirt, she apparated over to the party. She wasn't at all surprised that there were already what seemed to be a thousand bloody woman all over the place. Rolling her eyes, she made her way through the crowd in search of a drink. She had a feeling she might need one.

Finding the bar, she ordered a neat glass of Ogden's. Taking a sip she let her eyes move over the crowd, once more debating whether it had been worth it to come.

Adrian had been a bit surprised by the impromptu party, but he wasn't complaining. It got him out of the house. Besides, a Flint party meant there would be a load of groupies. The sort of ones you had a little fun with and ditched just as quickly. Mix that with a little bit of alcohol and it sounded like a good time.

He'd shown up earlier in the night, but hadn't made it to actually socializing with either Marcus or Clint. He figured it wasn't that big of a deal as they'd certainly forgive him if they'd seen the redhead he'd been talking to. Not to mention the fact that they were each probably a little busy to be worried about it.

Having gotten bored with the redhead, he'd departed and was currently making his way to one of the bars to get himself another drink. The party wasn't so fun when you could see the bottom of your glass.

Daphne wasn't even sure why she'd come. Well, sure she was. She wanted a chance to talk to people who weren't middle ages wizards at the Wizengamot and who wasn't her arsehole of a fiance. Of course, maybe she should have chosen some place to go that wasn't a Flint party. It was filled with slaggy girls and loser guys who went in the hopes to get Flint, Warrington, and Pucey's leftovers. And for some reason, people seemed to think she was one of them, despite the ring on her finger. She swore to Merlin, if one more disgusting bloke grabbed her arse, she was going to bloody knock them out. Where was Warrington when you needed him? Probably off shagging some slag or something.

As she scanned the crowd for someone who wouldn't try to rape her every time she moved, she saw Adrian heading towards one of the bars. She wasn't really close with him. She'd met him once or twice through Warrington, but he'd always seemed nice. Definitely didn't seem like the raping type. She made her way quickly through the crowd towards him and hooked her arm with his as soon as she was close enough. "Pretend you're my fiance for a few seconds," she said simply, not bothering with a greeting. "Or my brother or something. I don't care," she said, just hoping that if the rapey creeps saw her with him, they'd get the hint and leave her alone.

Adrian glanced down when he felt an arm link with his, he was about to dismiss whatever bird had latched onto him this time, but the comment died on his tongue when he recognized who it was. "Ah, Little Greengrass," he responded, amused by her request. "Always a pleasure."

He didn't really know her all that well, other than the fact that Clint's family and their own were rather close. As it stood, however, he had nothing against either of the girls, though he rarely saw the younger one.

"And what does pretending to be your fiancée entail?" he asked, as they reached the bar. He wasn't bloody well going to pretend to be her brother. That was weird and he had enough bloody sisters as it was. He didn't want another one, pretend or not.

Draco wasn't really in the mood for a party. Nor was he in the entirely in the mood to be social. Be that as it may, he managed to drum up enough of a game face to don his evening robes and head out towards the party at his old schoolmate and quidditch teammates house. Upon arrival, his grey eyes scanned the place, making keen note of who was there and who they were currently engaged with. After a satisfying glance about the place he made his way directly to the bar and ordered his drink in a cool, straight-forward manner before he leaned against the bar while the bartender poured the scotch.

He nodded as he picked up the glass and momentarily held it up as if to quickly inspect before he took a long sip and let the slightest smile break his otherwise stoic expression as the warm burn of the drink worked its magic and he waited to see what the night might have in store for him.

Ria glanced up when someone spoke to her left. She was a bit surprised to find Wizarding robes in replace of something a little more comfortable, but to each their own. When her eyes finally reached the man's face, she raised an eyebrow. It was hard to mistake him for anyone else ... not that he was all that much of a social figure these days.

"And what brings a Malfoy to this pathetic excuse for a shag fest?" she asked, taking another drink of her whiskey. She doubted he even knew who she was, but given the current state of things, she didn't really care either. He had to be better at conversation than the wood of the bar ... or half the half-dressed woman lurking about. Had it not been for the very good quality of Marcus' whiskey, she might have already called it a night.

Draco's eyes flashed for a moment as he heard his surname spoken and he turned to look at the person whom had spoken it. He held her in his gaze for another brief moment before he allowed a smile to crack the edge of his lips and then he turned slightly towards her, maintaining a social distance without encroaching upon her personal space. Before he spoke he glanced quickly to her beverage and then swirled his own glass once and then took a sip.

"One could ask the same of you," He flashed a wider smile, "Miss Greengrass." Draco paused for a split second as his eyes made a furtive glance about the room. "Decent scotch." He commented wryly, a slight smirk drawn about his features. "And yourself?" He chimed sweetly, though there were genuine tones in his voice that played along his own chilled presentation.

Pansy showed up to Flint’s party a little late- she’d decided at the last minute that she ought to at least make an appearance, after having decided initially not to go at all. Flint’s parties were famous for sex, drunkenness, and general debauchery- which really wasn’t any sort of compliment to Flint as a host, but just the nature of Slytherin parties as a whole.

Which is why Pansy, for one, never threw them. She didn’t appreciate people fucking all over her furniture and spilling drinks on her carpets. Then again, since she didn’t quite care about Flint’s potentially wine-stained, sex-stained carpets, she’d decided it just might be a bit of fun.

She changed into a filmy, blush-pink dress and pulled her hair back into a pristine chignon, then Apparated over to Flint’s, which was already full of people. To the right of the front door were a group of obvious groupies- women who didn’t really belong here but had happened to tag along with someone who was legitimately invited, seeing as how they were all wearing little more than their underwear and huddled together, casting sexy glances at the men around the room.

Pansy wrinkled her nose in distaste and glanced around the room, trying to spot someone she knew. Someone preferably not disease-ridden.

Ken had been at his mother's place, getting dinner with her and his sisters. It had taken longer than expected. His plans to meet up with Katie and Alicia got disrupted slightly. Instead of meeting up with them at the Leaky like they had initially planned, he was apparently meeting up with them at a party. A Marcus Flint party. He really wasn't sure why they were there or why he had to meet them there. Ken was a nice guy but even he wasn't a fan of Flint.

When he arrived at the party he walked in slowly, taking in is surroundings. Well, this was an interesting party... It looked almost like something out of muggle movies about being at university. A big party with lots of alcohol and even more morally questionable women. Ken was a fan of girls that dressed a little risque but some of the birds here weren't even trying to look like they were wearing anything more than underwear. Fun to look at but also unsettling at the same time.

In the process of looking around for Alicia and Katie, Ken managed to bump into a petite girl he hadn't seen standing just inside the doorway. He reached out in case he'd knocked her off balance. "I am so sorry, miss. I didn't see you there." He felt bad for running into her. "Are you okay?"

Pansy lurched forward as someone knocked into her from behind. She spun around, checked to make sure that her patent nude heels were unscuffed, then glared into the face of some random idiot male.

"Are you blind?" Pansy snapped, twisting away from his outstretched hand. Then she took a moment to survey him. He didn't look familiar. She tilted her head slightly and tried to discern whether or not to bother with him. "Do I know you?"

Katie broke away from Alicia, promising to return but she really needed to find the loo. The five or so beers had completely gone through her and she was feeling a little dizzy and just a bit drunk. She was glad she hadn't bothered with heels because she'd have lost them long before this point and time. She saw a line of girls and frowned. She really didn't want to wait. At all. Annoyed, maybe she'd just go home and call it a night. She was tired of watching her sister throw herself at men and she was tired of being ignored by guys. Which, the men here, she shouldn't care but it'd be nice to be treated like a girl for once and not an athlete.

She turned, quickly, not really paying attention to her surroundings and bumped into a very hard chest. Her hands instantly went up to his chest as she tried to steady herself. "I'm so sorry," she said, pulling back, eyes wide when she realized who it was. Oh. Marcus Flint. Fuck. She braced herself for some awful, snarky reply because she knew it was coming.

Marcus was having a mostly good time, though he was definitely tired of people touching him and his jacket. Why did girls think that touching him without his permission was a way to get positive attention from him? They were getting all grabby on his jacket and he didn't want it fucking ruined with their germs and filth so he'd gone and put it up in his room. Though, he wasn't sure taking clothing off was really the solution to the problem, but it would have to do for now.

Heading back downstairs, he was determined to find Clint. As much as he loved women, he was feeling a little OD'd on estrogen at the moment, a sentiment that Pucey clearly wasn't having while he snogged some blonde girl. He'd practically been standing still when someone ran into his chest, then decided to apparently feel him up. Completely not amused, he glared slightly at the person until he noticed who it was. Katie Bell. He wasn't sure if he should glare more or not. "I was just thinking I needed some more testosterone around. Thanks for helping out with that. How're you doing, Bell?" Marcus asked with a slight smirk.

Katie instantly dropped her hands and took a step back, nearly bumping into someone else. She frowned at him slightly annoyed that he always seemed to find her weakness and play on it. Tucking her hair behind her ear, she looked for a way out, not really up for verbal sparring with Flint. She was pretty sure he'd skewer her alive and she didn't really want to have to haul off and hit him. Stuffing her hands in her short pockets, she crossed her legs and leaned back against the wall, half hoping he'd just walk by her and not give another thought.

She was slightly surprised when he decided to strike up a conversation and she just raised a brow. Biting her bottom lip, she looked away and back down the hall, hoping the line for the loo would just... disappear and she could just make a run for it. She was pretty sure she hadn't really been this close to him in this kind of situation. Usually he was trying to knock her off her broom or elbowing her in the face. "Glad I could be of service," she said, smiling, ignoring the barb. "I'm good! How are you?"
