I'm going to go ahead and extend my hiatus time for another couple of days, just because I don't really know how active I'll be until I'm back home. I'll still be online, but just haven't had that much time for playing. For Lavender, since she's been quiet lately, I'm going to say she was abroad since before Christmas, since she didn't go to the holiday ball. She went to Will's funeral but she was quiet and stayed out of the way.

Hiatus time! I will be gone from about 5:30 pm tonight until about December 22nd. I should be able to get a few minutes here or there of internet time, but I can't promise anything. When I get to Philly on the 22nd, I'll probably only be around nights until the 2nd, when I come back to Indiana. At some point, when I'm in Philly, I should get the internet back on my phone, but until then? Whatever time I can steal!

Hello, folks! My name is Dorothea and I bring Hermione Granger to the table. Apologies for not intro-ing sooner; our most gracious mods had to sort out a weirdness with my comm access.

Mi's back in town after finishing a degree from Muggle uni, and spending the last few months backpacking through Britain. Just now she's at loose ends -- which means anyone and everyone is welcome to try to draw her into your favorite plots, evil or otherwise!

Semi-hiatus

Hello lovelies!

So. Of course, the second I come back, my computer freaks out (it keeps shutting itself down). So. I'll have very limited access. I'll probably still be on my phone and try to tag from either that or my tablet but it really depends on how annoying that becomes.

You'll probably see random journal comments, etc. Hopefully it's nothing serious. It's going in today so I should know what's up by tomorrow.

ANYWAY. I almost ALWAYS have my phone with me. Except when I lose it. But still. You can get me on AIM on my phone or email and hopefully my roommie will let me sneak his laptop on occasion.

Introducing Lila Moon.

Hello all! It's Gina and I'm bringing you the lovely Lila Moon.
Lila (Or if you're really close to her you can choose between Lili (sounds like LEELEE), Lil, or Lee) is in Harry's year and a Ravenclaw graduate. She's from Edinburgh, Scotland and is muggleborn. Her mum died when she was in 2nd year and her Dad owns a flower shop. Now that Lila is out of Hogwarts, she's a herbologist. She travels a lot, but absolutely loves her job. She's a vegetarian, believes in equal rights for everyone, and obviously doesn't like much of the current events lately. She was actually engaged to a muggle last year, but broke it off due to the fact that he was cheating on her with his secretary (how cliche). As far as personality goes, she's somewhat of a spitfire. She's very opinionated, speaks her mind. She's very intelligent and absolutely hates it when people treat her nice solely based on her looks. She's a hard worker and can be somewhat uptight but not the worst. She likes to snark, but also has a very big heart. She flocks to people with strong personalities, but really she is a lot nicer than she seems.

So, it's one of the busiest shopping weekends of the year and my awesome retail job is going to be pretty slammed through Sunday. So. I'm probably not going to be around til Mondayish. I have pretty long days (9 to 10 hours shifts) and a floorset Sunday night. And, aside from that, my brain is pretty much fried at the end of the night. So...

Hey guys, sorry this is a touch late. My name is Amber, and I live in Florida. I’m turning 22 in two weeks and I’m a college student who works a full time job (but spends most of it chatting on AIM). I’m pretty much always available for chatting or playing, and I like to think I’m friendly, so there is that. My aim is Notyouraverage25 and my email is nobodiesangel1@yahoo.com. Both of which I’ve had since I was like…. Ten. I really need to upgrade them. Lol.

Anywho. This is Charlie Weasley. There isn’t a whole lot to say about him. He’s overconfident, and a bit of a jerk but he thinks its all in good fun. He works with Dragons, and he decided to stick around after the war instead of going back to Romania, so he works at the Reserve in Wales most of the time (with a few work exceptions that cause him to travel). He likes quidditch, beer and women. He’s fun loving, and friendly. He’ll do anything for his friends or for his family. Most recently, he’s been abroad in Romania working on a Dragon Transfer and he’s been gone for a couple of weeks. But he’s home now!

Everyone wants to be his friend, right?

So hi. This is Tracey Davis.

Tracey is a halfblood, but that information was only recently (as in the last three months) made public as up until then she had no idea.

She works at the Ministry for the Experimental Charms Committee.

She's cousins with Clint and ex to Blaise.

She's short. As in 5 feet tall. She's also a bit snarky, plays things close to the vest and when her feelings are hurt they are hurt badly. And she doesn't forget people who have hurt her either.

Mod Annoucements!

Couple of announcements!

- We've had a lot of complaints about dropped threads and while we realize that people have live outside of RP, we'd just like to make sure everyone is communicating with one another! If you have to drop a thread, please talk to the person you're threading with to discuss plot and what happened.

- If the dropped threads continue, we will be implementing a dropped thread rule. This applies to everyone!

- The Daily Prophet is going to one day a week. We're moving it to Tues/Wed with special editions if needed. The gossip column will come out with the regularly scheduled Prophet publication.

- This month there's a fair amount of activity and new laws will be proposed and reported in Wednesday's Prophet.

- The St. Mungo's Benefit and Charity Auction will take place on November 19th. People will be available to auction and purchase.

- The Werewolf Laws will become more controversial as the plot progresses.

❧ Players are expected to post at least 1 journal log every two weeks per character (Ex: a player has three characters = three posts every two weeks) as well as one thread a month per character. Posting entries and threads more often is highly encouraged.

❧ Activity checks will occur on Tuesday every two weeks and a list will be put up on the OOC community listing journals that need to make a post or risk removal. Players who have not made a post or participated in a thread by the following activity check will be removed. Characters that make this list more than two times in a row (or continuously meet the bare minimum to resist removal) will be given a warning for not meeting activity requirements. After a warning, this character will be removed on the second offense.
