Bailey sometimes didn't like sleeping around others because she was jealous. Jealous of how close some of the families were. Jealous of those who had friends. Being around other people made it clear that she was alone. No one bothered to talk to her and though she probably would have just made a smart ass comment to them, it was nice to confront someone who seemed at least somewhat social. Probably because of the sleep deprivation. It could either turn someone into a bitch, or make them really nice.
Her sleeping bag was massive, showing so as she spread it on the ground. "I found this in an apartment. Must have been for camping." She motioned for the other girl to sit down. "I'm Bailey. Fellow survivor stuck in this shit hole." She shrugged her shoulders just a bit before her eyes met Elli's. "I don't stay here all the time. I like to move around. How about you?"
She tucked a strand of glossy blond hair behind an ear and gazed towards the dark sleeping bag with checkers for patterns. "In case you haven't guessed it, I totally blow at conversations." Making friends was a challenge. A mountain she needed to climb, a road she had to walk down. "It's been raining exploders lately. Almost got myself killed." Right, because that was an awesome way to continue a conversation.
