Trademark smile formed on Harvey's lips. He tugged back at the journal but then decided to let the man have it. French he guessed. A smooth tone to his voice that wasn't even intimidating when he was mad. The guy could curse all he wanted and his accent would provide entertainment instead of intimidation. He always believed the French to be softies. The ones he dealt with hardly an issue. One did deck him in the jaw, but it tickled if anything else. Tilting his head, he inspected the man. The journal seemed to be of great value. People had possessions they cherished, but this may as well have been gold for the man perhaps. Harvey couldn't blame him. Truth be told, if he had a journal with personal thoughts and one found it, he would be pissed. So at least he leveled with the man to some degree. That didn't mean he was going to be nice though.
"Maybe you should have not been stupid enough to leave your little coloring book lying around. You may as well have baited me to grab it." Arms folded, he chuckled slightly. "It has nothing of value to me. I don't think anyone would trade scotch for a drawing book. But really, impressive art." He wasn't taking the fact that the man might have been angry seriously. He gave it back so why not just fiddle around with talking to him?
Suddenly, he grabbed the book back and opened it back to the drawing of a rather beautiful woman. Delicate and quite luring. "She's hot. If she's real, tell her I said feel free to pay me a visit." He traced the outline of the picture, his mind trying to picture what she might look like in real life. The picture hardly seemed to be fictional. There was a true essence to it and Harvey would stoop low to figure out who this woman was. "No seriously. I'd be on her like white on rice."
