Really, was a Halloween party necessary? Probably not. But quite frankly, it seemed like the only intriguing thing to do on this night. The only reason he knew of the party was because he herd a mother and her three kids gushing about something to do on Halloween. So, after going to his secret stash to get his flask and some vodka, he followed another group of young lings to the party.
He missed the wild scene he was used to. Drinking until one vomited, doing various uppers and downers until your body was numb. But this kiddie style party could provide entertainment. Not from his end however. When someone asked him for a swig of his drink, he drank the rest of it on purpose. Booze was hard to provide a rush anymore. So, he yawned while he walked slowly.
His head maneuvered to the side when he heard someone speaking about the Halloween party. "I know, right? It's pretty ballsy if you ask me. What next? Are we going to all be around a big table saying prayers on Thanksgiving?" This was easily an attempt to display that fun could still be had, but that didn't mean Donovan wasn't going to be an ass about it.
