Vivian gave a nod and smiled. If the younger woman didn't want to take anything, that was quite fine. But she'd probably be seen trying to ask her again if she was interested in anything since she owed her one. "Don't hesitate to ask for anything at any time. I think it is only fair that I at least provide a rain check." Though she may be hard to spot since she was on the run quite often. "I tend to like Madison Square the most, so you can always find me there if you need anything. But of course, I'd hate to put anyone in danger so I can leave some things here."
She extended her slender hand to give a proper greeting. "I'm Vivian. You can call me Viv if that's easier." Her brow arched when she learned Elli hadn't been there for too long. "Have you been in another safehouse? Or were you located some place else?" She didn't know what the other states were like, but she knew others went through hell from the far states before they arrived in New York City.
"You're right. It is quite possible to go unnoticed here. I guess that applies in general. Some have their tight knit groups and you tend to feel left out." She never tried hard to fit in, really. But it did get lonely quite often. "Are you a New York native?" She figured the very little she could do was conduct conversation.
