The past twelve minutes had been making excuses to one of the soldiers in charge of the patrol she was supposed to be a part of, while the remainder of her time had been spent jogging through the obstacle course of streets that led to the Inn where Evan had witnessed her breakdown. She didn't pause to consider how strange it was to be meeting him at the same location, only allowing herself to agree with him that the place was well-away from any prying eyes or ears.
