“Obviously,” Nick answered with a laugh. “Could it have strobe lights?” She asked with a small smirk. “You could make it look like a rave or something…” she paused for a moment before adding. “Wait, do you know what a rave actually looked like? Because I don’t.” She was giggling now, that sort of laughter that sprang up when a person was maybe just a tad on the overly tired side. “And no, I guess I didn’t think you’d say something flowery.” In all honesty she did know him better than that.
Nick’s smile widened when Jax admitted he had been asking her to come sit down next to him. “Hmm, do I want to do that?” She mused aloud, a thoughtful expression slipping onto her features.
It was extremely hard not to laugh when Jax attempted a pouty face. Her boyfriend had many very strong traits, but his ability to do a successful pouting face was not one of them – or maybe Nick just knew how to resist it. “Just to see you pout like that, or attempt to pout,” she answered, her expression mischievous. “Oh? Was that what I was suppose to do? I wasn’t informed of that little detail.” Nick added, still teasing as she moved across the small space in the guard tower and sat down next to Jax. “And yes, a please definitely helps.” She shifted around, leaning into him as she made herself comfortable.
“Better now?” Nick tipped her chin up to look at him as she asked him this.
