A small laugh escaped her at Jax’s ‘Nick signal’ joke. Although she hadn’t exactly been a huge comic book person, she knew that reference well enough. “So tell me, what would a Nick signal look like exactly?” She asked, with a faint smirk, shifting to set down the few items she had brought with her – an extra blanket and a bottle of moonshine – before moving closer to Jax. “And don’t’ say some flowery thing, ‘cause you and I both know that’s not me.” Nick added, smiling as he pointed out that he had blankets to share.
“Oh really? Now would that be your way of asking me to come sit down?” It was just second nature to tease him a bit. They both knew that at the end of it all she would move over to sit down next to him, because it wasn’t like she wanted to freeze. Plus, cuddling with her awesomely hot boyfriend, always better than shivering.
Still, the smirk on her face was still this side of teasing as she continued. “You know it’s kind of nice over here…” Except not really. “I may just decide to sit down over here with my own blanket.” Nick was maybe curious to see if he’d do anything to get her closer to him, which she kind of thought he might. Plus, her hope was that if she got him focusing on this he wouldn’t focus on whatever nightmare he had been dealing with before.
