"I'll be a cool soldier, though," Noah said. Really, the only reason he'd picked that costume was because he already had the essentials needed for it. If he'd made the time to go looting, he could have found something better, but that wasn't really his thing. He was mostly going because Vienna wanted him to, and there was no reason for him to be a recluse in his cell while everyone else was partying. "Can't beat Spiderman, anyway," he added with a grin.
Sometimes, it was kind of nice to do things one normally didn't do. It actually wouldn't bug Noah to get on the swings with Ledger, as long as they were sturdy enough to hold a grown man. He didn't feel like he was forced to do this just to please Vienna; it wasn't a problem for him to get to know her family. He was already friends with Bea, and Ledger was another extension of that.
He squeezed Vienna close to him as Ledger ran off ahead of them. "I'm always humble," he said, completely joking of course. "That's one of the main things you like about me." Right. Noah leaned down to give her a quick kiss and then said, "Yeah, I guess most of us don't move fast enough for a three year old."
