The attitude wouldn't have really been minded. There wasn't much Kris loved more than a good sparring match. But he was blissfully oblivious of the missed chance, so he just laughed once, a little bit hollow, and shrugged a shoulder. "You're the boss," he muttered, restarting and opening up the programming screen.
It took about forty-five seconds. The hack had something to do with setting the computer to shut down when a certain program opened, and Kris could have easily done it in his sleep. But just to test it, he had to reset, so he turned and looked at the girl while he waited for it to start up. "Should be good, but I just want to let it run for like five minutes to be sure, if you don't mind. So, for payment, you can tell me exactly why you want me to do this to your brother…" he mused, his eyebrow arched as he bypassed the password section on the startup screen.
His head still hurt, but he'd rather fill the silence with chatter than sit there awkwardly.
