Shaking his head no insistently, Ollie smirked at Allie, because he was pretty sure she agreed that exactly what Minnie Mouse and her little loverboy had needed was to be interrupted. It was way, way too late at night, or… early in the morning as it were, to be making that much noise. "I think everyone in this room and the one on the other side would have thanked you. They'd throw parades in your honor and dedicate a day in history to you. Allie Andrada Day: the day that Federal Hall Safehouse won the war against obnoxiously loud sex…" he grinned wryly. The chip on his shoulder may have been smaller if he'd been getting any, but that was another point entirely. "I know I'd have suggested Allie Day."
Chuckling, he nodded his head. "You're fortunately forgiving, but unfortunately a little bit less forgetful…" he joked. Not that he really cared. He wouldn't change Allie for the world, not even if he could. "I think our relationship would be entirely different if I had as good a memory as you did," he added with a huge grin. "Sadly, as soon as I try, you do one of those Allie things, like make a joke or say something you know makes me forgive and forget…" he mused.
Ah Allie. Ever the epic prioritizer. "Check and check," he gave her a thumbs up. "Tomorrow I'll put a drag show for you. I'll sing some Madonna and some Gaga for good measure," he nodded seriously. And he had every intention to follow through. "You can wear that blue striped shirt I got from Burberry last week. You did love it, after all, right?" He paused, "Although we're not too far from Christmas, Als, so I think Christmassiness is exactly what's needed around here."
"Talent night!" Ollie jumped up, genuinely excited and not caring about the grouchy huff he got from their roommate. "Yes! We'll send out a bulletin like that girl did for Halloween and tell everyone to bring their best talents. And as for rewards no prizes, just glory. Brilliance."
People said a lot of things about Allie's adaptation skills, and none of them were good. Ollie, on the other hand, noticed the exact opposite. Allie was taking what could have been ten times worse and doing the very best she could with it. She'd learned to sew, learned to tolerate things that Ollie never would have expected her to tolerate otherwise… Ollie admired her for that. "You're the best," he told her with a smile.
The smile faded into a hiss and a wince when she started cleaning the cut on his forehead. "Hey, people seemed to think that red and green were a good combination for Christmas when they look tacky together," he joked to cut the tension. "Maybe I'm just trying to revolutionize it like they did. I'd say they could be the Allie Andrada Day official colors but I think you'd throttle me. Or at least look at me very sternly."
