"Oh man. End of the world… not a good time to have a Pinocchio complex," Ollie joked. "It's a good thing we both decided that I'm real, because I'm not sure I could deal with the implications of not being real…" he added. He was… eternally grateful to be able to sit and joke with someone for once. He loved Allie, and sitting and joking with her was fun, too. But something like this, letting his wilder side out with a relative stranger, was something long-needed.
"Oh, really? Português quanto você sabe?" he asked her. Learning languages was something that both he and his sister had done to be good thieves. Pretending not to speak English had gotten them out of plenty of fixes.
It's good to know, Ollie smirked a little bit when Laney said that. He was tempted to ask why she was collecting references, but he didn't. Instead he just grinned a little bit more and then paused at her last question. "Does it count if it was on in the background but I wasn't using it? Belgian women are into some really weird things…" he pointed out.
