"I did," Ollie nodded when she comment on his doing time. "Not prostitution, no," he added with a laugh, ducking his head again and grinning wildly. He wasn't a liar. He'd already decided that if she asked, he'd tell her. And it wasn't like that shit mattered anymore. "Grand larceny, actually. Casino heists. Museums, too. I had a shitload of fun with it," he half-smiled at the memory. "There's something so rewarding about evading or downright obliterating security and coming out with the prize…" and god did he miss it sometimes.
"Nah, just the one time. That's all I did, after all," he added with a wry grin as he waited for her next question.
The comment about Allie's friend made him nod and shrug. "I never met her but my sister thinks the world of her, and to me, that's what's important…" he stopped talking after that, sensing that the talk of Allie was making Laney uncomfortable.
