George's grin only served to make Allie's widen. It was genuine, too. Not at all mocking, at least not where she was concerned. "I imagine it's not that much different than sex scenes were on television. Probably a bit awkward for the actors at first, but with a strongly encouraging reaction from the audience, a fun time for everyone." She smiled at the uncomfortable expression on the other girl's face. "It's not for everyone, though. Sometimes solo is the most rewarding method." She shrugged, unaffected by the topic.
"And I bet you thought you wouldn't enjoy having a conversation with someone like me." Allie, smiling smugly, rested her fists on her hips in mocking challenge. It was likely an amusing sight, given that she was sitting down, but that was the whole point. "Cross my heart, I will never bring up that subject again, and if I do? Or if I bring up something else that I shouldn't? You have my permission to&mdash" To what? She didn't want George to hit her or anything like that. "—To say really mean things to me." Nod.
Again, the understanding passed between them. "Neither do I. We'll just have to hope no one enacts a law where we actually have to go through with it."
Biting her lip, Allie glanced distractedly around the main area of Grand Central, perking up when she spotted her brother bounding down the steps, his eyes scanning the crowd for her. "It's been great talking to you, George. Really. Next time I'm over this way, we should talk conspiracies again." She grinned as she stood up.
