Hopefully they wouldn't have to really go through any more emotional trauma. Not either of them. If she lost him though, that would probably be the end of it. She'd just give up. He was the only person that she had left, and she didn't know how she'd actually make it without him around. She was there for him in the same way. Even if they were respectful of each others privacy. No one wanted to go through all of this alone. She was beyond grateful to have him.
Playfully she rolled her eyes at him and shook her head. "Well I suppose you know the post-apocalyptic world is enough for anyone to admit past mistakes. Want me to admit anything else?" she teased back. But sure, she could admit to her mistakes when it came to something that had happened before. Even if he was just teasing her about it, and so she stuck her tongue out at him. "No we weren't worrying about the undead. That was me just bored and you not following me and so I went the other way," she pointed out. However she could concede. "Uh oh.. I wouldn't want to be in trouble for that. I don't want to deal with you when you're angry. You have my word."
Lucretia felt bad too that other people died from sickness. Was it better than getting bitten? She didn't know. She figured so, but then the people who got bitten and weren't immune probably went through a illness-like experience anyway. Definitely not the way to go either way. It still scared the crap out of her.
"Oh it's okay, don't worry about it. I barely noticed myself. Stop apologizing.." she tsk'd, shaking her head a little. Okay, so they didn't need a map. "I don't know, you could have really wanted to stay inside where it's warm and read your book. But I'm glad you're going. If I didn't say thank you, I'd feel bad." They were both terribly British, weren't they? Moving along the streets, she kept an eye out for anything that was going to jump out from behind a corner.
