Once you finish a scene, comment on this post to let me know! I'll add your respective house points.

There is no time limit to finishing scenes, so take your time and plot this out. For the most part, rule breaking that happens in these scenes will go unpunished (but try not to abuse this.) We wouldn't want to force your character to take punishments, after all. We tried our best to make these scenes as general as possible so you could be creative.

- Monday, Oct. 5th is Richard Rhodes' birthday!

- Next Friday (the 9th) is Idris' Fall Formal! The mods were thinking of having a masquerade theme where students go in costumes and masks, and remain anonymous until midnight, when the masks are removed. Thoughts, suggestions, comments, questions? We'd love to hear them!

- Since we have a play rehearsal thread up, we'll just assume that the play itself was a huge success and not have an event thread up for that. If actors want to thread any backstage interaction, feel free to do so in the rehearsal thread!

- Since the school play is next Friday, this is the last call for interested characters or characters who may be interested in switching to a more major role! (Or just a role in general.) Let us know!

- It is that time again! Scene lottery time! For those of you who are unfamiliar, a scene lottery is where all characters that sign up are randomly paired (or tripled; depending on the amount of characters signing up, some characters might end up doing two scenes) and given a completely random (and usually quirky) scene that they can play out.

It will help with character interaction, since some characters might not meet up under normal circumstances. And, for every time your character completes a scene lottery scene (and by complete, we mean that both characters finish writing an entire thread between them!) they earn 10 points towards their house. If you want to sign up just comment here with the characters you'd like to offer for this.

Pairings and scene assignments will most likely come out October 3rd!

- If you haven't seen already, a notice was posted for students about the school play here. (And this is Mei having fun: Not entirely work safe...)

- Activity checks will happen this week. If your character hasn't been active, you will be receiving an email from our mods either tomorrow or the day after. Also, if you have a lot of unfinished threads, please take this time to complete them. A reminder: our activity requirements state that you should have at least one thread and one journal entry per week per character (or more than one thread and no journal entry is okay too!) We do rely mainly on threading, so incomplete threads will not count to your activity count

Two students are suspected of breaking into the potions lab and stealing ingredients. Did they do it?
Mod Edit: Considering the nature of these two characters, it's possible that one of them was suspected and the other either accused or is in the middle of investigating. ;) Nobody said they actually did anything. (Or didn't.)

Evita/Viitoria
The forest is off-limits for a reason. What happens when students decide to break the rule and go wandering? (Refer to this list for creatures that can be found in the forest. Remember that most are dangerous and it is highly unlikely that two students will be able to fight them off.)

A brawl has broken out one night at The Pink Pony, and two students are caught in the middle (Or maybe they're the ones who started it...)

As you all know, June 29th is the official First Day of School for Idris. And that's when we're hoping to start off the RP officially. So, to give your characters a little something to do the first week of school, we're holding our first ever scene lottery!

The way this will work is: all characters that sign up will be put into a list. They will then be randomly paired (or tripled; depending on the amount of characters signing up, some characters might end up doing two scenes) and given a completely random (and usually quirky) scene that they can play out.

And, for every time your character completes a scene lottery scene (and by complete, we mean that both characters finish writing an entire thread between them!) they earn 5 points towards their house.

If you are interested in this scene lottery, please let the mods know by replying to this post! Feel free to also suggest scenes. We might not use all of them this time around, but we'll keep them in mind for future lotteries.
