Hello people, yet another new player. We seem to almost come in groups, don't we?

An anyway I'm Sina and I come bringing another warlock into the house of Mathey. Her name's Jannika Björkstrand and she's a 7th year student from Sweden. She's not the most talkative person around and has a quite a temper but she is really friendly and likes being around people. Her three main passions in life are books, sports and magic, demonology mainly. But really she's not a bad person, she just tends to come off as a bit distanced before she gets to know people and she tends to get a lot more talkative then.

There probably will be Swedish in her posts or she might start mumbling in it at times when she gets annoyed but I will translate everything so you'll have a clue what she's on about. Besides being fluid in English and Swedish she can both read and write in latin and knows a little French and Hausa. The last only because of her heritage, she was adopted from Nigeria at a young age but more about that can be found in her bio so I'm not going to bore you with details here.

She's the Editor of the sports pages for the newspaper, is involved in Dragon Racing and Boxing. She doesn't really listen to nicknames asides from people she knows well and prefers people just address her by her first name.

I'm working on getting a storyline post up (working on getting most things up really) and everything and anything is more than welcome. <3 I can be found at AIM on Sina Madargon if you want to plot or really, just whatever. I promise I don't bite!

Hello everyone I am a new player and my name is Dana. I was going to do this tomorrow but I went home from work early. Yay!

So this is Sonya Bure she is a sixth year Rakiah and is a Dark Mage. She can absorb and block out light, (see her bio for more specific details) but she is the exact opposite of her power in personality. Sonya is overly friendly and talkative, she will have easily talked to each character if only to say hello. She is not afraid to just go and chat. She is known for living in the moment and definitely causes mischief now and then. She often plays pranks using her ability.

Sonya is German, quite often swears in german. Sometimes she can pause in conversation trying to think of the word in English. Sonya also speaks French and Flemish but those are not fluent. Sonya lives in Bruges now but that only happened a couple years ago. Sonya hates her stepmother and is at odds with her father.

Oh and people call Sonya by two nicknames, Pea is her more general one, or Pixie.

Hi guys! I'm Silver and I'm your new player! :D

Today I impose upon you one Jae-seok Kim, commonly known as Jae. He's a Korean-American from Los Angeles, a German Shepherd Therian, in his 7th year at Idris and a member of the Rakiah house. On a semi-similar vein, he's also the goalie for the Rakiah Blitzball team, and is also in Dance Company, Dragon Racing, Swordplay and Photography, which is prooobably enough to tell you that other than his one creative pursuit he is very, veeery big on athletics. Like, HUGELY, as in sports more or less consume the part of his life that isn't defined by his thriving social life. On that note, he is extremely sociable, and will talk to basically anyone, mostly out of a combination of wanting to say that he did and striving to be one of those people who somehow knows everyone and their cousin.

Hey y'all. I am Oleander (commonly called Lee), some of the older players might remember me. Well I quit my job, so I can now do thing that I actually like to do...like RP! So here I am.

This is Cid. He's a metal mage from Santiago, Chile and more than a bit of a city slicker. He's also a jerk and spoilt rotten. His real full name is Ziti Txatxel Belasco Ibarra and there is a pronunciation guide for that in his bio if you want to try your hand at speaking Basque.

On the more positive side of my character, he makes anatomically correct snowmen (and he'll probably try his hand at making snowwomen this year. . . and since he's a teenager, he might even go as far as to making kama sutra snowsexmen.) He does like to prank people, and while he gets into verbal fights with people, he wouldn't do well if it turned into a fistfight.

Cid is pretty much up to insulting everyone and anyone! So, any takers?

Okay so I had to emergency hiatus because grad school caused me to spontaneously combust. And while it's still kind of smoldering, I should be good for awhile. So I'm back. You can all celebrate or mourn accordingly.

SO ANYHOW... I owe people tags from like god knows how long ago, so I'll try to get to all of those today. Sorry about that.

And it looks like there are new people so I guess I should introduce myself and my girl. I'm Alison. I play Misae Mashunkashey, a 6th year Mathey warlock from Oklahoma, mostly of Osage ancestry. She's shy and standoffish, and sometimes a bit socially awkward, until she gets to know people. Once she does, she's more friendly, a good listener and a loyal friend, but she's still fairly guarded. She tends to let herself be absorbed in her schoolwork and is also dedicated to ballet, and is quite a talented dancer. She's currently become very interested in some of the darker aspects of warlock magic.. so my absence can simply be explained away by saying she's been more distant than usual lately because she's sneaking around studying things she probably shouldn't be.

Okay so.. If there is anything anyone thinks I need to know, introduce your awesome characters I don't know (or your awesome selves), or establish/re-establish some sort of lines because Misae really doesn't have any... I'd love you like forever or something.

Um. ANYWAY.

A NEW CHARACTER. Don't worry/sorry to disappoint, he's quite the opposite of Leon in pretty much every way.

Meet Gabriel Keeley. Gabe for short. He's a 6th year Warlock in Araboth. And I suck at making these summaries, but let's try:

- He's very outgoing and friendly for a Warlock, though he might come off as a bit superficial and detached because he doesn't really care about other people. He just want to be one of the popular kids
- He's gay and proud of it
- He's a hopeless romantic and convinced he's going to find his soulmate in Idris. And when he falls for someone he can be a bit obsessive, and there's nothing he wouldn't do for whoever he thinks is the love of his life
- He lives in his own little world and firmly believes in the supernatural, eg. ghosts/vampires/demons/etc. And past lives. And soulmates. All that good stuff. 'cause if magic is real, all the rest has to be too, right?
- He likes to know the future and so he likes people who can see the future. He's fascinated by faie because they live so long. Therians he's a little wary of because they're so unpredictable. He thinks witches and mages aren't as awesome as warlocks because their gifts are so specialized. And he doesn't like mundies and never wants to live a normal mundie life
- He doesn't really have a temper, he has better things to do than worry about who's hurt his feelings
- Oh, and he secretly wants to be the greatest warlock there ever was and doesn't care who gets hurt in the process (except he'd never hurt his soulmate, obviously). Similarly, he would also do anything to become immortal. But no one's supposed to know these things.

I'm probably forgetting something important. So. For more information/details, feel free to check out his profile. (I'll make it and his journal prettier when I stop being lazy.)


Honestly, I have no idea what I want for him. Except Viktor. But plots are LOVE and what I live for. SO. Tell me what your characters think/feel about him, and if you have any ideas for storylines/possible plots I can't wait to hear about them.

Anywho. Hi, it's Rocy. I just got permission to bring in my second character, Matsumoto Shizuka ...and her first name is Shizuka, by the way. I'm just weird and like things properly formatted. :D

I was going to write out a shiny paragraph like I did for Devon, but I found it really hard to summarize her. Rawr. The bare bones are that she is a fifth year Araboth. Faie. Japanese. She's originally from Nagoya, Japan (first three hundred years of her life, just about), but she's currently living with her grandfather and little sister in Brooklyn, USA. Her family used to be the big Faie power in Japan/east Asia, but that ended about 400-500 years ago. Ummm. Yeah, I just woke up and I'm already late for work. And I'm out of coffee. SO! There's more information in her biography, including appearance/tattoo, likes/dislikes, and personality. Go read it. Pleaaase.

Nira is an openly gay, extremely mean, competitive, alcoholic, not to mention insensitive, Warlock supremacist Blitzball captain (and goalie) who has a penchant for calling boys by girls names, creating her own nicknames for other girls, and likes tormenting Penelope. : ) Honestly, I think that sums it up quite well.

edit: I also forgot to mention that I'll be gone most of tomorrow attending my cousin's wheelchair rugby tournament and have work the following day, but after that. I promise to exist more. <3

Hello all~ I’m Kit for those of you that I haven’t met yet via chat. And for those who I have its five am and I finally finished that homework assignment I was whining about. Woohoo! So uh awesome and I’m going to apologize now if this somehow manages to not be coherent, which is sadly very likely.

Anyway onto the point, I’m bringing in Laura Caterine Rousseau-Smith. She’s a sixth year in Mathey, house prefect, and a gravity witch. Not that any characters really have to worry she can only intensify gravity while conscious and even then not always when she wants to. Friends will also know that a sure way to really keep her from gluing anyone to their spot would be to make her hands temporarily unusable as she utilizes hand motions to keep from messing with all gravity in a general 20 foot radius around her.

I would really love a close friend for her and a couple other friends, people she doesn’t get along with, a trouble maker to learn of her midnight runs and give her some stress over her it. Maybe a romance line where things start out good and quickly fizzles out. Would anyone be interested in “introducing” her to the wild side of a party? She’s such a well behaved girl after all and never thinks of breaking any other rules than her runs. :D

So that’s quick paraphrased version. Again I’m sorry if this didn’t make much sense sleeping for only an hour didn’t help me too much. It looks like I'm the new kid here~ I even skimmed through the AIM list and nope! I don't know a single person. Eek!

Anyway, I'm Rocy. I'm bringing in Devon Valeria Callaghan, an Irish-Argentine, African Wild Dog Therian. What a mouthful. She prefers being called Dev, never Val or Valeria, but close friends can call her whatever they want. She'll even respond to 'hey, you' most of the time.

I ♥ storylines. Friends, enemies, 'frenemies' ? Future ~romantic interests? I'd love to have a guy that she can be a total guy around, which basically means being her filthy-minded, animalistic, hedonistic self. Haha. Other than that, just the basics, I guess.

Hey guys! This is Meghan with her very first boy character EVER! (Be exited, very excited.)

This is Nathan Coventon, he is your everyday average nerd/dork. He does nerdish things like hang out in the Library, make flow-charts, and play internet chess. He is very good with things and very bad with people.

He is a Clairvoyant, which I am using as a fancy word for "Seer". He has the ability to see into the past and future, but it is all very choppy and hard to piece together. It doesn't help that every choice people make affect his visions, so one could change while he was still seeing it. He's able to see much more clearly into the past because of this. The past is stable because it is over, therefore he'd much rather look there than the future. Looking into the future normally ends with a grumpy Nate because it tends to give him a headache.

He's a nice guy, if a bit easy to lead around if you happen to be a girl. Girls tend to make him a giant mush-ball, and he'd do just about anything if a girl needed help. (He likes to pretend he's smooooooth. He is not. At all.)

So yes, I'll be needing all the normal stuff for him. The rest of his info is here. So hit me up with lots of plotty goodness.

EDIT: I just remembered. If you could tell me a little snippet of something Nate could have seen your character doing that would be awesome. It doesn't have to be anything HUGE, in fact very rarely would it be something big at all. It could be your character brushing their teeth, if you'd like. I would just like an idea. xD

Hello everybody! I just realized that there was another Crystal here, so feel free to call me C2 or some other nickname. This is Dakota Bailey Algernon, a 6th year Araboth. Basically, she'll treat you the way you treat her. If you're nice to her, she'll be nice back. If you're an ass, she'll give you the same treatment. She's a therian, and her animal form is a mustang. Dakota has an addiction with card games, from poker to rummie. Some lines would be nice. :) Best friends, friends, enemies, acquaintances, and anything else!

HI EVERYONE! This is April again (Elias' Mun)with my second character, Zeila Iara Barros (I personally have no idea what the proper pronunciation is, but I say Zay-La E-ah-rah B-ah-Rous). She is a 7th year Araboth, Goal Keeper, and a Maned Wolf Therian! Shocking, I know. :P

She comes across as very very snobby and she is very intelligent, but her most defining trait MIGHT be that she is deaf. She can however, thanks to five years of year-round rigorous learning, read lips and she can speak verablly. She sounds as if she has some type of unknown speech impediment and it is very reasonable that your characters do not realize she is deaf. In addition, she knows American and British Sign Language, but since most of Idris doesn't know it, she typically strays away from it. So if Zeila is ignoring you, it is probably because she has no idea you're talking to her.

NEXT. She is in fact, a lesbian, but she doesn't like to pigeon-hole herself into any one sexuality. She resents most of her classmates for forcing her to speak verbally, and she doesn't care to keep many friends. She is, however, not nearly as snobby as she comes across. Really, she is thoughtful and pensive, but also sweet, caring, and at times very codependent.

She is prejudiced against Faie primarily, not that she hates them, but she is prone to keying on their faults and finding blame in them should anything happen in which their connected. She also finds feline Therian rather petty and discounts their strength. She is, however, a little more secretive about the last one.

Greetings all. I'm Danielle and I just joined. Because I really miss having an active RP somewhere. This game looks like it should fit that bill very well!

I bring you Yitzhak, a 6th year witch with healing abilities. He's a very studious, very focused boy and that wasn't helped by discovering that he has special abilities. He's probably the most likely person ever to walk into a wall and not notice until he finished the page of the book he was in the middle of when it happened. He's even generally friendly, as long as no one tries to make small talk or waste his time.

Plot wise, I'm up for just about anything. But for this boy? He needs some good friends to drag his nose out of books sometimes. He also needs to be taken down a few notches in regards to his abilities, since he's rather convinced that if you read enough you can do anything. And, eventually, he'll need someone or someones to get him to confront the very fact that he is a sexual being, let alone gay.

Hi, I'm Taz! It's very nice to meet you all & I'm very excited to jump in. Even though I seem to have come in while a lot of you are on hiatus. XD

Anyways, I'm bringing in Peyton here, who's a 7th year, Mathey, Mage (of the electricity variety) who's on the Blitzball team. The best/quickest/easiest way to sum her up is to say she's easy-going. It's nearly impossible to ruffle her feathers (the only way that's guaranteed is to have a problem with her dads). Um, she is pretty quiet most of the time, but don't mistake that for being shy/introverted because she's actually pretty silly. Not a huge party animal but she likes to have fun. I suck with intro's so feel free to browse her whole bio here.

I don't really have any specific line ideas for her atm. I would love for her to have some people who tell her their problems/lean on her, friends, a best friend (or two), crushes, past relationships (casual or serious), someone who can get under her skin. Working out the dynamic for her fellow Matheys (especially Blitzball players), anyone else she's in a club with (Arts & Crafts, Book Club, GSA, & Photography), & fellow mages would be especially lovely.

Anyways, I'm sleepy and rambling at y'all now, so I'm gonna stop.
