- Viktor's birthday is this Thursday, the 15th!

- Alexandra and Bella's birthdays are Saturday, October 17th!

- An official Dragon Racing match will be held Saturday the 17th as well. More information about that will come when the mods figure that out.

- Naomi's birthday is Monday the 19th!

Hey guys!

- Elias is having a birthday on Wednesday the 23rd!
- Since Monday is a Jewish holiday, Fall break has been extended til then. Class resume Tuesday as normal!
- Araboth Blitzball and Dragon racing are canceled for Monday, but there is a Therians and Faie for Unity club meeting still on at 7pm!

Just a note: We have noticed that IJ has not been properly notifying people of their threads. If you have one open and you've been waiting on someone for a while, please go and check that thread and see if maybe IJ screwed up in notifying you! Or poke the person you're waiting on~

- Friday, September 11th is the birthday of Alec and Eli!

- Fall Break will be next week (14th - 18th!) The school is sponsoring an educational trip to Malibu, California, United States! It is open to all students and will be from the 13th until the 18th. (So Sunday until Friday night!) The catch is, that each student attending must write a 4-page essay (at least~ longer is always welcomed =p) on a topic of their choice. Said topic must be related to something they're learning in one of their classes and Malibu. You guys don't have to role play this out and please don't write the essays, 'cause nobody is going to want to read that. But just keep in mind that it won't be all fun and games. No need to sign up officially, but feel free to have your characters go!

- Blitzball game between Mathey and Rakiah will be coming up this Friday! The winner will be determined by random dice rolls. The mods will write up a nice little synopsis the night of the game to describe what happened. However, for the sake of not wanting to godmod any of your characters, the mods ask that anyone who plays a Blitzball player on either Mathey or Rakiah team reply to this thread with the following information:

Injuries: Any injuries (where, how serious, and what kind) your player might have recieved during the course of the game
Special Abilities: Any special attacks/combos/team secrets that your player(s) might have been working on
Enemies: if your player has anyone on their team or the opposing team that they really don't like, feel free to let us know.

We might or might not use any/all of the things you've listed, but it would be nice to have a list anyways. And for reference, Mathey team currently consists of several NPCs, Peyton, and Willem. Rakiah team consists of one NPC, Oliver, Arion, Deke, Dick, and Cora!

And please remember to tag your entries! With "!incomplete" or "!complete" (depending on the status of your thread) and the characters involved. If it is an event (meaning there's more than one thing going on at once) there is no need to tag complete/incomplete, instead just stick "!event" on there and tag all characters involved! And if it's a gift, just tagging all characters involved in the gift would be fine too =)

Hi guys! Just a few notes and updates!

- It's Lily's birthday today (Monday) so feel free to react or not care about that.

- We unfortunately had to remove two students. Cameron has gone on a trip to Egypt, and Brooke had to rush home to tend to a sickly mother. That said, a senator and Head Girl position are open. Come talk to one of the mods if you'd like to move your character up to one of those positions. Remember that Head Girl is only open to 7th year (girls) and it is preferred that the girl has had other Student Government positions. Though not required.

New update: Brooke is going to officially leave (as far as plotlines go) on Tuesday. There will be a few days of confusion, and the new Head Girl will be named... (dun dun dun...) Viitoria. So Thursday Viitoria will have a nice little entry up. And characters can react to it however they want to.

- The Casino Royale event is coming up this Friday. It will be a school sanctioned (fake) gambling night where students can dress up and have some fun. The event will begin at 8pm and run until midnight. A notice has gone up asking for donations of good quality things and/or services from the students for prizes during this event. Please comment here if you'd like to donate any items. (And example would be: Julian will be 'auctioning off' a date with himself. =P Because the boy is just that cocky. It can also be textbooks, clothing, money, jewelery, anything you can think of.) Comments will be screened so it will be more fun.

You have until Wednesday night (Eastern time) to donate something. An actual slot machine will (hopefully) be up by Wednesday night for you to play, and prizes will be announced Friday when the big event goes up.

- If you haven't seen already, a notice was posted for students about the school play here. (And this is Mei having fun: Not entirely work safe...)

- Activity checks will happen this week. If your character hasn't been active, you will be receiving an email from our mods either tomorrow or the day after. Also, if you have a lot of unfinished threads, please take this time to complete them. A reminder: our activity requirements state that you should have at least one thread and one journal entry per week per character (or more than one thread and no journal entry is okay too!) We do rely mainly on threading, so incomplete threads will not count to your activity count

- We are holding another scene lottery! For those of you who were not around for our first, a scene lottery is where all characters that sign up are randomly paired (or tripled; depending on the amount of characters signing up, some characters might end up doing two scenes) and given a completely random (and usually quirky) scene that they can play out.

It will help with character interaction, since some characters might not meet up under normal circumstances. And, for every time your character completes a scene lottery scene (and by complete, we mean that both characters finish writing an entire thread between them!) they earn 10 points towards their house. If you want to sign up just comment here with the characters you'd like to offer for this. Scene lottery scenes will most likely go out the weekend of the 25th =) (Comments are screened for this reason)

- London's birthday is on Thursday the 16th!
