So I have been gone for over a month and I don't know the new characters! And there is no way I can look through 6+weeks of posts to find the ones I need responding to, so I'm just gonna post here and all newbies and oldies with plot bunnies can post here! Yay!

Your mods are tired and life is mean, so there is no newspaper article (yet?) Not all of this is public knowledge, so please read through everything before reacting. But, here is what has happened this weekend:

Early Sunday morning, Alrick Montague was found dead in his house in Rome. Cause of death seems to be asphyxiation; in fact, all of the oxygen was drained from his body, making this not any normal attack.

Currently, not much information is known. The newspapers have not published anything just yet, because the Magical Governance is withholding information.

All Faie from prominent European families should already know, however, that Alrick is dead. There has been a bit of an uproar in the Faie community, but since the newspapers and media are being suppressed by the governance, details as to why the Faie community is upset is still unknown to those who are not Faie. Feel free to spread rumors. (Or, if you play a Faie, feel free to speculate and announce information to the rest of the school!)

Also, Rome has mysteriously been shut down. Contact to anyone inside of Rome will be suspended until late Monday night and nobody will be able to enter or leave the city. This means that if your characters have relatives or friends in Rome, they will be unable to reach these people until very late Monday night. Oliver and Laura will be detained in Rome until Monday night as well and will not be able to contact anyone from Idris until then. All suspects will be interrogated.

Okay so I had to emergency hiatus because grad school caused me to spontaneously combust. And while it's still kind of smoldering, I should be good for awhile. So I'm back. You can all celebrate or mourn accordingly.

SO ANYHOW... I owe people tags from like god knows how long ago, so I'll try to get to all of those today. Sorry about that.

And it looks like there are new people so I guess I should introduce myself and my girl. I'm Alison. I play Misae Mashunkashey, a 6th year Mathey warlock from Oklahoma, mostly of Osage ancestry. She's shy and standoffish, and sometimes a bit socially awkward, until she gets to know people. Once she does, she's more friendly, a good listener and a loyal friend, but she's still fairly guarded. She tends to let herself be absorbed in her schoolwork and is also dedicated to ballet, and is quite a talented dancer. She's currently become very interested in some of the darker aspects of warlock magic.. so my absence can simply be explained away by saying she's been more distant than usual lately because she's sneaking around studying things she probably shouldn't be.

Okay so.. If there is anything anyone thinks I need to know, introduce your awesome characters I don't know (or your awesome selves), or establish/re-establish some sort of lines because Misae really doesn't have any... I'd love you like forever or something.

That would explain why Idris's layout was down... :/ I should just give the CSS to someone more responsible like my wife... It should be back soon because I JUST FINISHED PAYING MY BILLS. D: It's really hard to keep up with this monthly stuff. I haven't even noticed that it's November yet.

Anyways. Between that and finding a bunch of spam notifications and unanswered emails in my inbox (apparently I've been checking the wrong email's spam folders...@_@) ...

I'm back! Kind of. I have homework due Friday and Sunday. And I'll be out all Saturday. But, I should be around more now. :) And I'm getting around to my threads! I'm done responding to all open threads with me! I think.

And since I'm not a lazy whore like Reno and Lena, I have my storyline pages all updated :D But if anyone wants plot with any of my babies, please plot with meh!

Also. I've just noticed that the only threads I had left open before my hiatus were with Danielle and Sophia. Which means that the rest of you have been really bad at responding to my threads. D: SO GET ON THAT GAIS. WTF. Don't you love me anymore? ._.

I can't believe I'm doing this, but I'm going to be gone until Saturday night-ish. Usually, I can handle life -- not so much this week/the last few days. Two people in my department at work have the ~swine flu~ (and that's out of seven people total), so we're all hustling to keep up with the extra work... As in, Rocy gets to work four 12-hr shifts this week (plus college, ugh), and got to do the same last week too. So yeah. Woo. I have the weekend off -- YAY -- but between now and then, any free moment I have is going to be spent sleeping. Literally. And I'm pretty sure I'll be asleep well into Saturday afternoon too.

Hello thar! Yes yes yes, I'm back, for realz this time. I just wanted to say HI to all the new people! Um, because I would almost certainly miss the intro posts if I tried to back track (it's happened before :\ ) I shall just put my bio bit here: I play Kaevan and Free, and am always up for plot! And will hopefully be much more active now...

Hey guys. It's Reno. And first of all, let me apologize for failing at life.

Um. ANYWAY.

A NEW CHARACTER. Don't worry/sorry to disappoint, he's quite the opposite of Leon in pretty much every way.

Meet Gabriel Keeley. Gabe for short. He's a 6th year Warlock in Araboth. And I suck at making these summaries, but let's try:

- He's very outgoing and friendly for a Warlock, though he might come off as a bit superficial and detached because he doesn't really care about other people. He just want to be one of the popular kids
- He's gay and proud of it
- He's a hopeless romantic and convinced he's going to find his soulmate in Idris. And when he falls for someone he can be a bit obsessive, and there's nothing he wouldn't do for whoever he thinks is the love of his life
- He lives in his own little world and firmly believes in the supernatural, eg. ghosts/vampires/demons/etc. And past lives. And soulmates. All that good stuff. 'cause if magic is real, all the rest has to be too, right?
- He likes to know the future and so he likes people who can see the future. He's fascinated by faie because they live so long. Therians he's a little wary of because they're so unpredictable. He thinks witches and mages aren't as awesome as warlocks because their gifts are so specialized. And he doesn't like mundies and never wants to live a normal mundie life
- He doesn't really have a temper, he has better things to do than worry about who's hurt his feelings
- Oh, and he secretly wants to be the greatest warlock there ever was and doesn't care who gets hurt in the process (except he'd never hurt his soulmate, obviously). Similarly, he would also do anything to become immortal. But no one's supposed to know these things.

I'm probably forgetting something important. So. For more information/details, feel free to check out his profile. (I'll make it and his journal prettier when I stop being lazy.)


Honestly, I have no idea what I want for him. Except Viktor. But plots are LOVE and what I live for. SO. Tell me what your characters think/feel about him, and if you have any ideas for storylines/possible plots I can't wait to hear about them.

Anywho. Hi, it's Rocy. I just got permission to bring in my second character, Matsumoto Shizuka ...and her first name is Shizuka, by the way. I'm just weird and like things properly formatted. :D

I was going to write out a shiny paragraph like I did for Devon, but I found it really hard to summarize her. Rawr. The bare bones are that she is a fifth year Araboth. Faie. Japanese. She's originally from Nagoya, Japan (first three hundred years of her life, just about), but she's currently living with her grandfather and little sister in Brooklyn, USA. Her family used to be the big Faie power in Japan/east Asia, but that ended about 400-500 years ago. Ummm. Yeah, I just woke up and I'm already late for work. And I'm out of coffee. SO! There's more information in her biography, including appearance/tattoo, likes/dislikes, and personality. Go read it. Pleaaase.
