Hello all~ I’m Kit for those of you that I haven’t met yet via chat. And for those who I have its five am and I finally finished that homework assignment I was whining about. Woohoo! So uh awesome and I’m going to apologize now if this somehow manages to not be coherent, which is sadly very likely.

Anyway onto the point, I’m bringing in Laura Caterine Rousseau-Smith. She’s a sixth year in Mathey, house prefect, and a gravity witch. Not that any characters really have to worry she can only intensify gravity while conscious and even then not always when she wants to. Friends will also know that a sure way to really keep her from gluing anyone to their spot would be to make her hands temporarily unusable as she utilizes hand motions to keep from messing with all gravity in a general 20 foot radius around her.

She probably isn’t very well known to many of the student body as she kept mostly to herself in years previous. She has in recent years decided to try to be a more assertive and outgoing person. Laura is genuinely a sweet girl, a bit too trusting, and a good listener. As much as she likes to keep to herself she does enjoy spending time with what friends she does have. And by being a prefect she doesn’t look to fondly on rule breakers but tries to be fair when she comes across one or two. (Although she’s a bit of a hypocrite as she breaks curfew every now and then to go running at midnight.) She doesn’t particularly like talking about herself or her problems with others and if asked will brush the question asked.

I would really love a close friend for her and a couple other friends, people she doesn’t get along with, a trouble maker to learn of her midnight runs and give her some stress over her it. Maybe a romance line where things start out good and quickly fizzles out. Would anyone be interested in “introducing” her to the wild side of a party? She’s such a well behaved girl after all and never thinks of breaking any other rules than her runs. :D

So that’s quick paraphrased version. Again I’m sorry if this didn’t make much sense sleeping for only an hour didn’t help me too much. I might have left a few things out so feel free to take a gander at her profile. Feel free to comment on her storylines post with other ideas or drop me a message on ladypoisin.

Hey Kit! We already met in chat but I probably didn't make a very good first impression, so let's try again. I'm Reno and it's very nice to meet you! :) And I'm glad you finally got your assignment done.

I play Leon, the resident bad boy/troublemaker. He's a cougar therian, 7th year in Rakiah. And he's breaking rules all the time so based on that he and Laura probably wouldn't get along...

But I'm thinking he could possible be interested in introducing her to the wild side of the party? (Whatever that entails). Because when he's not busy fighting, he likes to get drunk and party and he thinks everyone should learn to have fun his way.

Probably not. I imagine she's found him fairly annoying in his rule breaking even before being made prefect. I suppose its a good thing that she tries to be fair otherwise he might be the cause of many points getting docked from Rakiah.

Awesome. It would primarily entail getting her drunk (which she's never been before aha :'D)and generally actually participating in the party or something I'm really only partially coherent at the moment. But she usually hangs back on the edges if she attends at all when it isn't mandatory.

Oh Leon could and would totally like to do that. He thinks everyone should learn the joys of drinking and partying and he'll gladly personally take care that they do. He might also find it particularly rewarding to get the prefect to break some rules, and might possibly use it to blackmail her later if she tried to get him in trouble for something he's done.

Oh man yeah they are. I hadn't really been paying attention to what the current totals are until you mentioned that they're doing sort of poorly.

that is an option for afterward, he could always blackmail her into awarding points the next time she does. Could be pretty useful for a little while. Or at least until he graduates. She'd feel a lot more than shame to be stripped of her prefect status. There will be definite grounds for some extreme dislike on her end.

Hi! Yay for 5am homework finishings... I'm Mei! We met in chat last night, and I swear I'm not always that mean or airheaded. (... Don't listen to Reno. He's a liar.)

Anyways, my three babies, which I will copy and paste here:

Viktor (this journal) is a 5th year Mathey. He's a fire mage, but very very afraid of his power. He comes from a dark past that he rarely ever talks about, which makes me a total doormat. He's way too eager to please and would do anything to make other people happy, even if it were to hurt himself. But he's nice and sweet (and quite gay). And he's picked up the habit of being flirtatious when he is flustered (courtesy of his best friend Alec.) Though half the time he doesn't even know he's doing it. He's your average naive, trusting, sweet doormat.

Then there's Viitoria Dumont (

princessvii) who is the resident bitch. She's the Head Girl (recently promoted after her roommate left) and a 7th year Araboth Faie. She's the leader of the Dance Company and head cheerleader for Araboth. She dislikes everyone and considers nobody her friend, but she knows she needs to be nice to make it through. To everyone on the outside, she just seems to be an arrogant person who feels she is too good for them. Nobody knows that inside she's actually quite the manipulative bitch. She'll usually ignore your presence, unless she wanted something from you, in which case she'll be sweet.

And finally there is Arion (

failhorse) who is a seahorse Therian. He is a Rakiah 7th year, captain of the Blitzball team, and on the newspaper, in the orchestra, and a member of dragon racing. He's a compulsive liar and likes to make up random statistics and facts for fun. He and his twin brother like to cause chaos, bend rules, and play pranks on people. He's incredibly judgmental, just a tad obsessive compulsive, and has a horrible temper. He is very nosy and likes to offer his opinion even when he knows it is absolutely not wanted. Aaand... he has an insatiable curiosity; he's willing to do anything at least once for the experience. He has a predisposition to like Therian, and he hates Faie with a passion.

SO. Viktor and her are house mates! He'd like her. They're both quiet. He's really friendly too, so he'd probably have talked to her at some point.

Viitoria... :/ girl has no lines because she's just so much of a bitch. So I'm tempted to say that she might make nice with Laura and pretend to be her friend and try to make her her pet or something. But that depends on how Laura reacts to stuff...

Arion would be civil at least. Again, I think how he gets along with her would depend on how she reacts to him.

But Viktor sounds adorable. I can see them being somewhere between acquaintances and friends. Talking is good though. I can see her getting a little protective of him if they became good friends though. Try to be understanding about his fear of his powers. She'd probably be amused by his flirting if only because he does it when flustered.

Viitoria. Considering her current feelings on the faie after last year Viitoria would be met by some resistance/suspicion and Laura generally keeping her guard up. But it could be doable but it depends on what stuff you are talking about reaction wise as well.

I honestly think she would like him best while in orchestra. She does not thrive well in chaos despite being able to keep a cool head to try and restore order. But hey their both twins so some common ground even though her's is a mundie. So maybe for the time she's still sort of on the fence about Arion?

Hmm... I'M NOT REALLY SURE. Viitoria could be sickeningly sweet if she really wants to be, and if she were that way right from the start when they first met years ago, then it's possible that Laura would believe it. The question is, would Laura believe everyone else when they try to warn her that Vii is a bitch? (Because you know people will tell her that if she goes anywhere near Vii...) Erm. Either way though... they're both in Student Government. Vii would either act like an older sister figure to Laura or completely ignore her. I think.

On the fence sounds great! They can be friendlyish acquaintances for now.

She probably wouldn't have believed it back then. Although right about now she would buy that as a possibility while at the same time sort of kind of give her some slight leeway not a lot but a little bit. Yeah they can always have their interactions through that. I'm not sure which act she would prefer though. Her opinions on faie aren't great but she knows that she can't condemn them all because of one.

Yitzhak likes her for studying. They're in the same year and I'm sure he wants to study with her fairly regularly. Studious people make him happy. And if she's willing to forgo small talk most of the time, I think they'd be friends. He doesn't mind quiet at all, in fact, he rather respects people who don't talk as much. And he would happily spend hours sitting with her in the library, studying and reading in general. But he certainly won't be the type to get her in any trouble at all, unless encouraging her to experiment with her abilities and to expand on them counts. But I certainly think they'll know each other and get along well.

As for James... he's probably not actively scared of her and they are in the same house. She probably knows something about how bad his past is, since she's his prefect, just for the sake of safety and just in case something might go wrong. But he isn't the type to approach the prefect most of the time, authority kind of scares him. Shje might be helping everyone else tutor him, though.

And hello, again! :D Go Toy Story! :P

If he doesn't mind a hello/good afternoon I don't think she'll mind forgoing small talk. She isn't very good at it anyway. But study buddies are awesome and make for great company when just reading. Might require some convincing to get her to experiment with her powers/expand them. She's quite happy with their development as is. Though I guess he would give her the push she needs to work with them a little more often than she already does.

She's probably protective of him too. In that weird housemate/sister way. and she probably feels that occasionally she should remind him that he can talk to her anytime if he's having problems. No pressure though just that her door and ears are always open. But she would gladly help everyone else tutor him or tutor him herself if she is capable of doing so.

He doesn't mind that much. But the rest can go away. Awesome! Study adn reading buddies, from the sounds of it. And I think he'd just like her overall. Not too much nonsense, studious, capable of being serious... his kind of person. XD

Aw. James always needs protective people. And reminding him is good. If she reminds him anytime the next few weeks, she might get asked about going home to meet his baby brother. He's asking lots of people right now. And tutoring is awesome! He always needs tutoring.

I can't argue with that. But Robin Hood might be even better.

He sounds like he could be an awesome buddy. And I totally just got around to reading his personality and he likes being outdoors. Made of extra awesome to Laura. She's enjoys an occasional hike or nature walk.

He will definitely find one in Laura. Her friends and housemates mean a lot to her. She just might, and if he does she'll probably tell him that its really up to him but if he wants to meet his new brother he should go and if he doesn't he should stay. If he did decide to go though she'd probably be the first person to ask him how it was.

Maid Marion was so much more awesome as a fox than in the Mel Brook's Robin Hood movie. Even though I loved Cary Elwes as Robin Hood.

Hi~ I'm Rocy, the other newbie. :]

I'm not sure how well she and Devy would get along... I think Dev would be friendly, but she might come off as too strong sometimes? (Dev has that problem. A lot.) Plus, the prefect-house points part is a big turn off, so she'd be forcing the friendly at times too. BUT! If they're ever at the same party, Dev probably wouldn't encourage her to get drunk -- once Laura got drunk on her own / courtesy of Leon, Dev would make sure that a) she had fun and b) got back to Idris/Mathey safe and sound.

Maybe more acquaintances then? If only because there are certain aspects to Devon that make her shiver in a mixture of disgust and confusion. She does not understand Devon's aversion to clothes, that will probably be her big hang up. But then Laura's a bit of a prude. >.< But she is very welcome to help make sure she has fun at a party after Leon gets her drunk and it would be much appreciated that she'd see to it that Laura got back safe.

Hi, I'm Juliet and my two are fair game!

Bella is also a Mathey but she's a 6th year witch (empathic) and a house senator. There's a ton more in her journal but she's a sweetheart with a shy streak has a gentle heart.

Alex is my fiesty healer witch from Vancouver and she's a total jock (she's Blitzball goalie and plays ice hockey). More on her in

alex_bristow but she's got a helper complex like mad. She's my friendly one and is mega loyal to her friends (and will protect like mad).

They would probably have quite a few classes together and plus they're both on Student Government so they've had a lot of chances to bump into each other. Not to mention they're both shy and sweet. Hiiii Kit~! This is Meghan, we met in the chat. I've got three babies for you to look at.(And I'm at work, so I'll be keeping this relativily short.)

This journal is Nathan Coventon. Nate is a sixth year witch in Zebul. He's the prefect for Zebul, so they could know each other that way, plus as they are both witches, they would have most likely had bunches of classes together over the years. His gift is the gift of sight. He can see into the past and future, although he much rather see the past, the future is all jumpy and it gives him a headache. He's a complete nerd, and isn't so good with girls. They make him all flustered. He'd like Laura, because she's a pretty girl. Unless they've know each other for a while now, he would be complete rubbish around her though.

Then I have Penelope McKenna (

water_bird). Pen is a fifth year water mage in Mathey, so they are in the same house. She is outgoing and bubbly, if a bit flighty. She'd like Laura and try and make friends.

Lastly I have Elendir Montague (

lendie_love). Lendie is a fifth year Faie in Zebul, she's very sweet and kind, if a bit naive. She'll love Laura, because she loves everyone. She's the founder of TFU or Therians and Faie for Unity, which is a big deal for her. She just wants everyone to get along.

So as I said in chat like two minutes ago, sorry I'm being such and arse and not commenting back sooner. Bad me. D:

But I really do love Nate, and my babygirl thinks he's kinda cute. Nerds/dorks/geeks, are mucho cooler in her book than the popular crowd. Plus she'd probably rather go to a fellow student about techy problems (she knows absolutely nothing about computers except how to use them to talk to friends and update her journal). But yeah they probably have had like a million classes together by both being witches. I support them knowing each other through student government. Maybe she is that girl that sits in front of him in Magical Balance? I dunno I'm just throwing stuff out there cause I think they'd be interesting. He probably would also know about secret midnight runs because of his ability.

Pen sounds cute. Laura probably thinks of her as the little sister she never had, and find her flightiness endearing.

Laura is actually curious about TFU. She doesn't exactly have any strong feelings on their less than stellar relations with one another but she probably would support the cause. Once she has a better idea about what the club actually does.

Howdy Kit! I'm Crys and we haven't met yet. =( But I'm sure we will get to it soon enough.

I have three kids for you to meet.

First is Oli here. He's also a 6th year. He is an air mage and loves dragon racing. He plays blitzball for Rakiah and works weekends as a bartender at Zouk! He is a huge flirt and will chat her up if the opportunity presents itself. He definitely has a reputation as a womanizer or Don Juan type guy. He can't help it. Its like a compulsion with him. He also has a knack for getting into trouble and injuring himself.

Then I have Rocky

rockyrds. He is also a 6th year, in Zebul house and an earth mage. he plays on the blitzball team (reserve) and is an active member of TFU and the Art Club. He's a sweetheart, protective of his friends and very easy-going for the most part.

And finally there is Cora

rottn2thecora. She is a 5th year witch in Rakiah house. She plays on the blitzball team, does swordplay and is in student government. She is also very active in any theatrical production that Idris academy puts on. A highly competitive girl, she can come off a little cold. SHe tries to put on a perky happy exterior for the masses and when things are going her way she does so easily. Oh, her power is mind control and she loves it. Making people do whatever she wants is great fun and handy for her. She tells people she is a telepath though (although her mind powers really can only pick up very obvious thoughts on the very surface of a person's mind).

So there you are. Let me know what Laura thinks of them.

Hiya! Absolutely I love meeting new people. Actually hi we're in chat right now. :D

Oli, Oli, Oli. He can flirt/chat what have you with her cause I highly doubt the opportunity won't present itself. His reputation as a womanizer an getting into trouble will probably be her biggest turn off about him. But at the same time she probably has some serious issues with seeing him (or anyone) getting hurt. Um she might flirt with him he is very nice to look at after all but I don't think she'd let herself become another conquest. But then she is really trusting so if he plays his cards right it could happen.

I'm not sure if they know each other or if she knows of him yet. She isn't really one to go to school sporting events, but if the Art Club ever did like a showcase on things they've made she might have seen some of his work. She's one of those artsy girls even though she honestly can't do anything with paper or pencil or paint. She'll stick to the orchestra and her harp.

The simple fact that she's cold turned Laura off real fast, also the competitiveness. She probably isn't too keen on her. Although maybe there's like an unspoken competition between them in their magical balance class? Especially since Laura is really big on academics and being getting awesome grades. And hopefully she will never get on Cora's bad side, she does not fancy the idea of having her head messed with.

Any girl who seems like a challenge peaks his interest. Of course easy girls are fun too. I don't think Oli is all that pick to be honest. They will have fun. Unless she fights with him and then he can get a little rude and mean (i.e. Oliver and Penelope).

Rocky is also VP of TFU and in regards to the Art Club, most of his work involves metal, jewelry and stone (due to his mage abilities).

Being different years I am not sure academic competitiveness will come into play, but I can see if they got into a discussion about academics, both feeling like know-it-alls, it could get interesting. Especially if they had opposite view points on a subject.

She won't fight with him, she does not do confrontation. Well not in the personal sense. She'll jump right in when its confrontation between other people though. She's weird. But fun is good she needs to have more of that. She's such a bookworm.

Oh. What he does with them sounds mighty awesome though. But she will probably be making a swing by the TFU table outside the cafeteria in the near future. So he and Lendie can be all awesome and try to sway her to join.

Haha go me for being incapable of seeing a five. That discussion would probably be pretty awesome in general though. I doubt they would agree on everything anyway, so there's bound to be at least one differing view point.

Hi hi! :D

I'm Sophia and I play Dafne Battista and Evita Ayerza.

So, I could really see Evita and Laura interacting since they're both prefects. Evita's actually the Rakiah Prefect, which means she doesn't take a very firm stance on pranks :P or rather her firm stance is "Rakiahs will be Rakiahs." I think she's actually coming out of her shell a lot, who knows, maybe she'll even start getting in on some pranks in the future. I think it's a total possibility. But as of right now she's tended to be fairly quiet because of a language learning disability that has made learning english very difficult for her. As this is her seventh year at Idris she's fairly good at controlling her ability, she's also a witch so that's another thing they could bond over even though Evita's not exactly happy about the terminology. She's Catholic, and while for some reason she doesn't seem to care if other people are witches she does care that she's one...She's just self-hating at the moment, she's getting over it. But yeah, so :P both prefects, both witches, I'd like to see these two interact ^_^ and if she caught Laura running around after curfew she would totally look the other way :P and maybe cough if they were on rounds and Laura was being particularly dogmatic with a Rakiah, like "Wink wink, nudge judge, we could all be a little more understanding around here."

My other one is Dafne, she's a fifth year faie. Dafne's been fairly reserved in the past, tends to be sort of a loner but somehow totally ends up letting people latch onto her and for some reason she's gathering a plethora of adopted older brothers...Must be something about Dakota Fanning as a pb, makes boys want to adopt her. She's an orphan, which could be another reason, never knew her parents at all which is abnormal for a faie. She doesn't actually belong to any clan, and if anything is generally shunned by the faie community. She grew up in Venice, and before she arrived at Idris she actually took care of herself by taking part in the Venetian crime circuit. Her specialties include picking pockets and forgery specifically. She tends to stay out of trouble at school though, she's not exactly what you'd call a prankster, if anything Dafne tends to be on the serious side because she's had to fend for herself. Aaannndd...on a less serious note, she has a HUGE crush on the Lower Math Professor Adam Winsley, so...she's constantly studying math and very doe eyed during that class >.>

Evita sounds like she'd be a lot of fun for Laura to interact with. Between witchiness and being prefects. Laura is gonna try like all hell not to get caught but well if she did I think she'd prefer that it be someone who were going to look the other way. But um she wouldn't get too dogmatic with any Rakiah, she tries really hard to be fair and give out equally to all troublemakers. So really unless Leon way up there made a complete and utter annoyance out of himself I don't see favoritism being a problem. But she would definitely blush like crazy if that happened.

I think Laura would prefer being friends than adopting her. Although she would try not to let the fact that she's an orphan be all that a big a deal with her. She'd also be like a one of two exception to her not being too crazy about faie right now. but they might get along pretty well since she's more serious than a prankster. Haha something that Laura would totally let her ramble about if she ever wanted to, she understands those huge massive crushes. She just shouldn't ask her for help in math, Laura is horrible with it.

lol, yay, so Laura and Evita can be friends. Yeah, I think Evita might be all for just going ahead and nailing Leon depending on what he's doing since he's such a troublemaker and she hasn't interacted with him yet so she doesn't feel much for him other than "that kid that I don't really spend any time around who happens to be the same year as me and lives in my house." That's kind of depressing actually, that they're the same year, same house, no interaction. Anywho, yeah, I'd love to see these two hang out some time so we'll definitely have to set that up. They could do rounds together some time or something?

Lol, okay, so we'll try throwing these two into a situation and see what happens then. I think Dafne rambling about her crush on Adam Winsley--which she hasn't done yet--might be kind of amusing, but it would definitely have to be something she let slip like "Normally I wouldn't spend this much time on math but...what if Professor Winsley thinks I'm an idiot?" awkward pause. "Not that um, well, not that it matters if he thinks I'm an idiot. I mean, shit..." Otherwise, hmm, why doesn't she like faie? I'm curious :P not that there's a lot of them really....

Definitely. Haha well she's only interacted with a couple characters and only commented with one member of her house so I think that's alright. But um she will be very relieved if Evita supports her decision to dock points if they were to catch him. Nothing like a disagreement on that to let the troublemaker slip away. Yeah I'd like to see that too. Sure or they could just bump into each other on the quad or something.

Might be the best way. It does sound like it would be. But she won't have to worry her secrets safe with Laura. Girl doesn't have it in her to breach someone's confidence. She trustworthy like that. But um she doesn't like faie cause at the end of the previous year she dated a seventh year faie who promptly dropped her upon his graduation; so she's taking her hurt out on the rest of the faie students. There would have been some gossip about it thanks to GG so she might now about the relationship in like a passing sense but the relationship was never actually made truly public to the rest of the student body.
