Hello, hello!
It looks like I'm the new kid here~ I even skimmed through the AIM list and nope! I don't know a single person. Eek!

Anyway, I'm Rocy. I'm bringing in Devon Valeria Callaghan, an Irish-Argentine, African Wild Dog Therian. ~~What a mouthful.~~ She prefers being called Dev, never Val or Valeria, but close friends can call her whatever they want. She'll even respond to 'hey, you' most of the time.

Other characters would definitely know her / of her. She's not a wallflower by any means. She likes girls, dragon racing, running around nearly-naked (or completely naked, whichever she can get away with), and being in her animal form. She's got a morbid curiosity about what it would be like to live permanently as an animal (friends, you would know about this... and probably worry) -- as a result, she slips into canine form veryyy easily and has a hard time reverting to human. She acts/talks like inanimate objects are alive, cringes when something drops on the floor, enjoys a healthy-ish amount of porn, and doesn't like capitalizing things. Ah, and her family is a seriously touchy subject. People would probably hear her gushing about her younger sister/brother (twins, Therians), friends would hear about her father, but only the super-super-close friend(s) would know about her mother and sister. Or you could look at her biography, which is even longer, etc etc.

I ♥ storylines. Friends, enemies, 'frenemies' ? Future ~romantic interests? I'd love to have a guy that she can be a total guy around, which basically means being her filthy-minded, animalistic, hedonistic self. Haha. Other than that, just the basics, I guess.

If anyone wants to catch me on aim, it's audrey wtf. :D

Hi Rocy! I'm Juliet and I've got a pair of girls ready for plotting. Now comes the Cliffs Notes.

Alexandra (Alex) is also a Zebul and she's a 5th year healer witch. She's from Vancouver and is a total at heart jock (she's Blitzball goalie and team healer along with a major love of mundie ice hockey). She has a major helper complex and is also a dragon racer. More on her in this journal.

Isabella (Bella to most everyone) is my empathic 6th year witch from Mathey. She's Irish/Welsh (from Cardiff) and her older sister is a telpath (acting in London). She's a sweetheart but working on her shy streak. More info in

Hey!

I'm not sure if Dev and Alexandra would be close -- maybe acquaintances, the sort that eat breakfast together and talk about shared interests? Devon would love Bella though, if only to try and torture the shyness out of her. Haha. Plus, she gets points for being Irish, even though Devon's really only Irish in name/lineage. She also seems like the type of girl that could put up with Dev's eccentricities, which is a big yay when it comes to being Devon's friend.

Well, James would less scared of her! Dogs are totally okay. And he doesn't mind not talking about families either! Plus, nothing weirds him out. He probably likes her. Or at least... doesn't dislike her. Which is gosh darn good with him!

Yitzhak will complain rather frequently about her lack of capitalization, criticize her lack of clothing and generally not be a fan. I'm pretty sure he avoids her and groans every time he sees her journal.

Devon would think that James is young and cute and adorable-ly screwed up. So, she'd probably be over the top friendly towards him, along with the occasional face-licking attack when she's in animal form. Just so you know.

AND SHE LOVES YITZHAK. She's going to butcher his name down to one syllable, give him exaggerated winks, and generally harass him as much as she can. "You know you love me, Yitz!" Oh yes. Be afraid.

Some of that might freak him out. But he's probably gotten a... bit more used to it over the years. And just freezes and squeaks instead of totally panicking and screaming.

*cackles* Yitzhak is already pissed off and she hasn't actually done anything. Oh, he totally avoids her when at all possible. I'm pretty sure he also talks to her like she's a small child, all condescending and slow and grumbling.

Hmmm. This sharing is a strange and new idea to me. Tell me more!

	It's progress! Hurray~ Eventually, Devon's going to wear him down so he doesn't even react anymore. Muahaha. I love it, times a thousand. Does he respond to guilt trips at all? 	That... well, she can try! And she can teach about having fun, which is something he -so- doesn't get. The only guilt trip that work on him are Jewish ones. 	Devon is bucketfuls (bucket fulls?) of fun! Some of it has to rub off on him, definitely. Hm. I don't know good Dev would be at Jewish guilt trips. They're a little out of her league. But she should find out about the fantasy novels. 	If she goes on wacky hijinks, feel free to hit James up! He'll go along. James is special! That information is very useful, since Yitzhak freaks out if people know that. HI! I'm Mei! :D One of the mods here. And you've already met half of us in chat. (I hope we're not scaring you too much? We're really friendly, as you can see.) I have three babies here.

Viktor (this journal) is a 5th year Mathey. He's a fire mage, but very very afraid of his power. He comes from a dark past that he rarely ever talks about, which makes me a total doormat. He's way too eager to please and would do anything to make other people happy, even if it were to hurt himself. But he's nice and sweet (and quite gay). And he's picked up the habit of being flirtatious when he is flustered (courtesy of his best friend Alec.) Though half the time he doesn't even know he's doing it. He's your average naive, trusting, sweet doormat.

Then there's Viitoria Dumont (

princessvii) who is the resident bitch. She's the Head Girl (recently promoted after her roommate left) and a 7th year Araboth Faie. She's the leader of the Dance Company and head cheerleader for Araboth. She dislikes everyone and considers nobody her friend, but she knows she needs to be nice to make it through. To everyone on the outside, she just seems to be an arrogant person who feels she is too good for them. Nobody knows that inside she's actually quite the manipulative bitch. She'll usually ignore your presence, unless she wanted something from you, in which case she'll be sweet.

And finally there is Arion (

failhorse who is a seahorse Therian. He is a Rakiah 7th year, captain of the Blitzball team, and on the newspaper, in the orchestra, and a member of dragon racing. He's a compulsive liar and likes to make up random statistics and facts for fun. He and his twin brother like to cause chaos, bend rules, and play pranks on people. He's incredibly judgmental, just a tad obsessive compulsive, and has a horrible temper. He is very nosy and likes to offer his opinion even when he knows it is absolutely not wanted. Aaand... he has an insatiable curiosity; he's willing to do anything at least once for the experience. He has a predisposition to like Therian, and he hates Faie with a passion.

I think Viktor would like her? But Viktor likes everyone...

Viitoria would dislike her leik whoa.

And Arion... also has a secret fascination with his animal form. Except his is what it'd be like to be preggers. (But he doesn't tell anyone this, of course.) I think he could really like her? He'd find her strange (and the lower case thing would really bother him) but he'd also find her adorable and endearing too. Maybe. Depends on how she takes to him.

Viitoria » Hate, hate, die. :D Exaggerated, of course, but 'dislike, dislike, go away' doesn't have such an awesome ring to it.

Arion » She adores him. Especially the fact that his form is a seahorse. And you know she's going to make prego jokes about it. (I'm thinking she did some Googling in third year and ~discovered the truth about male seahorses.) Close friends?

Hey, Rocy, and welcome to you and Devon! I'm Reno, hi, nice to meet you :D

And I play Leon Darnell, 7th year Rakiah cougar Therian, who hates everything magical (including his therian side; and especially faie and everyone who's over-enthusiastic about their abilities), gets into fights easily and doesn't really give a damn about any rules. So a bit of a bad boy/troublemaker. When he's not busy fighting, he loves to get drunk and party. I have no idea what to offer him as, it really depends on what she thinks about him. If you're one of his rare friends he's really not that bad, and he would totally let her be a total guy around him. But if you want an enemy, apparently Leon is very good for that.

Leon and Dev... I think it'd be a love-hate friendship. If that makes sense? Because I think they'd get along ridiculously well in short bursts -- and then get into huge fights and not talk to each other for a week or more. He would definitely start to piss her off after a while, and I don't doubt that she'd irritate the hell out of him too. Hahaha. :D

Ideas/comments/suggestions? Haha.

Haha, a love-hate friendship sounds perfect! I think that's the closest to an actual friendship Leon ever gets. So yes, I like the sound of this. Good friends who get into huge fights is perfect. Let's go with that. Leon was in desperate need of more ~~dysfunctional~~ friends.

Leon and Dev would have probably known each other and been this way for a while already, yeah?

Hi Rocy! Welcome to Idris! Crys here and I have three kids.

The first is Oliver or Oli to his close friends. He is a 6th year so they have had classes together. He's an air mage who loves dragon racing. He also plays blitzball for Rakiah and bartends on the weekends at Zouk! As for personality, he is a HUGE flirt, chases after all girls - she will not be excluded, he smokes and has a very live-for-the-day attitude. Known troublemaker who takes risks for the hell of it.

Rocky

rockyrds is my 6th yr Zebul Earth mage who will know her really well. Hes really nice and very protective of people he cares about. He plays Blitzball, is a member of TFU and in the Art Club.

And then I have Cora

rottn2thecora who is a 5th yr Rakiah witch. She has the power of mind control but lets people think she is a telepath instead (she doesn't like the idea of people knowing she can mess with their heads - which she does enjoy doing from time to time) She had a hard childhood and it made her into a heartless person. She only cares about herself and pursuing her own goals. She is extremely competitive and always has to do everything in her power to win or get what she wants.

Dev would love having Oliver chasing after her. And she'd take every opportunity to remind him that a) she likes girls and b) she doesn't know what diseases he's carrying. XD However, she is a little curious about sex with a guy, so who knows~ maybe he'll get lucky some day. Haha.

Rocky + Devy = friends ? :D She'll cheer for him during Blitzball and everything.

I'm pretty sure that Devon would avoid/dislike Cora. And she doesn't think Cora's all that hot either, so there's no real reason for her to do anything but avoid her.

Haha. Devon liking girls only makes Oli crazier and he will make certain she knows what an avid condom wearer he is. If they were very good friends, I'd wager her curiosity is cured real quick. He will teasingly flirt with her night and day because it will be so much fun for him. She is the sort of person he feels most at ease being around.

Yay! Rocky will appreciate that. He is a reserve player so he doesn't get into the tank all the time. He'll blush at her nakedness and any other things that would embarass him. He flirts a little too but if he knows shes more interested in girls, he'll relax and treat her more like one of the guys.

Most people don't care for Cora although Ari tolerates her rather well. But if she gets wind that Dev doesn't think she is hot...oh boy, that pride of hers will be very ruffled and I'm not really sure what Cora will do. She either won't care or she might have to do whatever she can to make the girl change her mind. That could be interesting.

Dev will love that he treats her like one of the guys. :] And she's a little bit of a flirt anyway, so he should be prepared for that. She doesn't mean anything by it... it's just the way she's built.

! I smell future plot~ If things work out so Cora overhears Dev saying something about how she's not 'her type' or 'attractive', I'd love to see how she'd react.

Hee. Rocky likes the way she is and actually he is probably used to her at this point and probably doesn't get bothered by things she does or says unless they are totally over the top.

Being someones type or not won't be the issue with her. It is the simple statement of not being attractive that would eat at her. It will drive her crazy. =D

Heeeeeeey Rocy! This is Meghan, we met in chat. (I am so excited because I only have a few more minutes left until I can close up shop. xD) so anyways, I have three kids here for you to meet.

This Journal is Nathan Coventon. He is a sixth year Zebul witch with the power of the sight. He can see into the future and back into the past, but he much prefers the past because the future gives him headaches because it's choppy and unsettled. He's a total nerd and horrible with pretty girls. I think that Dev scares him with her openness about her body. He wouldn't know what to do if he ever saw her naked.

Then I have Elendir Montague (

lendie_love). Lendie is a fifth year Zebul Faie. She's insanely nice and naive. She would like Dev, because she likes everyone. She's the founder of TFU and really, really, really just wants the Faie and Therians to GET ALONG.

Lastly, I have Penelope McKenna (

water_bird). Pen is a fifth year Mathey water mage. She's outgoing and bubbly, if very flighty. She loves water and her powers. I'm sure she'd like Dev and would think it was funny if she flirted with her.

So yeah! There they are. I am always open to plotting on yylcgirl91 at AIM. <3

Sixth year Zebul... he might have seen her naked. It's not like she runs around completely bare ass naked -- she's usually got at least a pair of panties on, and only that little when there's been skinny dipping, a dare from a friend/foe, or she forgot her towel when she went to shower. <3

Lindieee. Personally, I love her, but probably not Devon. She's not against her, per say... she's just ungh-Faie in general. Tries to avoid them, etc etc etc. It's not worth the energy. Talking/befriending Faies means that she either has to deal with prejudiced Faie or prejudiced Therians. Maybe we can figure out some future plot though? Broaden Dev's horizons or something. XD

Acquaintances for Pen+Dev? She'll definitely flirt with her when they interact, haha.

Okay, so I play Evita Ayerza and Dafne Battista.

And...let's see...Okay, here we go:

Dafne is a Zebul, so they'll at least be seeing each other? She's a faie and Devon's a Therian, but as long as Devon doesn't have anything against Faie then they should be fine because Dafne is actually an orphan, she doesn't even really know what clan she belongs to--and the one she does belong to doesn't want her--so she grew up outside of the Faie circle and as a consequence really doesn't have the first idea about being one :P I could see them not necessarily being close friends at first, but definitely not enemies. Dafne might be kind of like "woah...why are you naked? Don't touch me." If Devon's wandering around in her underwear, but as long as Devon doesn't mind "sldfjs don't touch me" vibes at first funniness could ensue?

Then with Evita, she's from Argentina so if Devon is at all connected with that part of her heritage Evita would totally be like :glomp love: she's also dating Kae, who is a Therian so there's another connection? She doesn't speak much english though, so she tends to be reserved, or that's supposed to be the idea, except her mun is such a communicator that sometimes she slips in and out of Evita not being able to form proper sentences. I think she has off and on days...since Cora loaned her the whole Rosetta Stone thing she's maybe getting better in english. But yeah, Evita might like...throw a towel on Devon's scantily clad body, but otherwise she's the prefect that lets people get away with anything so I'm sure they'd get along? Maybe? I don't know...my brain is wiped for the day, I'm going guiltily move away from the pile of homework sitting on my desk now and go do some pleasure reading >.>

Dafne » I don't know how okay they'd be with each other. Devon doesn't care much one way or the other about Faie -- as long as they don't talk to her and she doesn't have to talk to them, everything's fine. Most of that is because she's very much 'make love, not war'... except her friends and family, not so much. I think that being besties with Arion, especially, has eased her towards anti-Faie feelings. Maybe they could have some friendly moments where everything's all good, but then someone (whether it be Dev or Dafne) kinda snaps back into the: shocked, 'ohmygod what the hell am I doing right now' mentality? Then would come the awkwardness and defensive comments~ haha.

Evita » Devon's actually from Argentina; she grew up in Córdoba, etc etc. She's never even been to Ireland, haha. She and Evita should definitely be friends, and Devon (obviously) speaks fluent Argentine Spanish, so Evita's lack of English won't be a problem. :] Devon can be her translator-friend! XD

Okay, so maybe Dafne and Devon won't get along :P since Devon has such a thing against faie, which is fine, I'm all for Dafne having a bad experience or two with a Therian because she hasn't really had any yet which probably isn't very realistic. Anyway, I could see the friendly moments thing where it ends not so well :P

For Evita that's awesome :D she loves Argentina, although she's from Buenos Aires not Co'rdoba, still she likes traveling around, mountain climbing and stuff, I'll have to check and see if there's anything to climb in Co'rdoba so she can be all "omg mountain" with Devon :P but yeah, yay for Evita having a friend who speaks Spanish. She probably really comes out of her shell around Devon then, because she doesn't have to worry about being misunderstood or people going "Why do you suck so much at English after being immersed in it for seven years?"

I have Nira. She's a lesbian, a Warlock and a total bitch. Aside from being physically attracted to Dev, I'm not sure Nira would like her very much. She doesn't like anyone very much except for a select few.
