Who: Eve and Cole What: The morning after When: Mid-Morning, Monday Where: Cole's Hotel Room Rating: SFW
The sunlight peeked through a crack in the curtains, as it tends to do, the beam lighting the room just enough to rouse the already stirring Eveline. Opening her eyes just enough to confirm it was sunlight waking her, Eveline rolled over a bit and stretched her long legs. This bed was unusually uncomfortable she surmised, and it was then that she realized she was not in her own bed, neither of them.
Eveline sat up, panic flooding her entire body. Where was she? She remembered leaving Idris the night before, but she could not remember where she had gone, or even why. This was it. She wasn't drinking anymore, that was over.
In the few moments that all of these thoughts were swirling around Eve's head, she had failed to notice the warm body next to her. However, as if cued, the body moaned softly in its sleep and rolled over slightly. Eveline could have screamed at the realization that she was in a bed with a stranger. She felt like crying; what kind of girl was she exactly? Just as she was about to climb out of bed, collect her clothes, and leave before anyone woke up, the body rolled again, this time toward her and his identity was revealed.
Cole.
Eve's heart was pounding as if she had just narrowly missed being part of a terrible car accident. It was only Cole. Yes, she had never woken up beside him before, but she supposed it was bound to happen considering the frequency of their relations. Allowing her heart rate to settle a bit, Eve looked around for Harrison but quickly found that there was only one bed in the room. This served to further settle her restless mind and Eve scooted back under the covers, a small headache starting in her forehead. Curling up against the sleeping Cole, Eve kissed his bare chest and shoulder, mostly in a gentle effort to not be the only one awake.
