About:

Influenced by communities similar to this from on the late GreatestJournal.com, this is

iam, an asylumn where you can claim a person or character from any media or walk of life that you wish. Something I would like to point out is that we do not make banners for these claims here.
If you like claiming communities and have a pairing you wish to claim, have a look at

otp (a place where you can claim up to three different pairings).

Rules:
01. You may only have one claim. There are countless characters and actors to choose from, so there is plenty to go around.
02. Update your journal at least once every calendar month to retain your claim. We don't want these claims to go to people who won't even use their journals here. Activity is the key.
03. No drama here, please. If someone has claimed something you really wanted, please choose something else.
04. Write "Do you know who I am?" in the subject field. To further reduce confusion and keep things simple, please state "iam the [insert character/person's name here] (fandom/profession) of InsaneJournal." First name is to be first and last name is to be last. I know Japanese names go last name first and first name last, but please do not add confusion for the mods.
05. If whomever you are claiming is not from fiction (i.e. books, video games, movies, etc.) then please explain what they do (i.e. acting, singing, etc.).
06. Should you want to drop your claim, please make a post stating so. This falls under your responsibility. If you are changing claims, you will have to use the same line as in rule #4.
07. Please make sure to link back with your claim in a public place where the mods can see it. You may be as creative as you wish, just so long as it links back to this asylumn. (The easiest way to do this is to use "iam the [insert character/person's name here] of Insanejournal.")
08. Please do not leave the asylumn once you've made your claim. There's nothing wrong with not watching the asylumn, just as long as you remain a member.
