Isiah's eyes narrowed and he turned his head with whip-like speed to his brother in law. "Forgive my poor time-keeping, dear brother, but I did not get the boy's note until late." He said, his tone mockingly polite. It would have done Horace good to know that Isiah had killed members of his family more closely related than the sickeningly smug human, although Horace seemed keen to stay clear of the wolf's jaws, considering his refusal to walk with him outside on the night of Lord Edgar's party.
"As for my pack, they obey the Council's ruling. The vampires might still suck humans dry, but we refrain from touching them at all." He smiled then, a horrible smile, "At least, we don't eat them."
