Calling For An Emergency Council Meeting
Subject: Calling For An Emergency Council Meeting

Open to: Letter response open to all Council Members (and families); Replies open to Adith Lloyd
It had to be done. He had sat and re-read the horrid article over and over, sending away the servant who came to collect him for dinner. There was no other solution he could think of to rid them of the two-pronged problem that faced them. This murder, remarkable for its gore, would no doubt spark the attention of the public, and Mr Horrigan, damn him, was the sort of man that could fan the flames.
He pulled paper and a pen forward, and wrote quickly, several copies, and called for a servant, carefully naming the recipients on the envelope for each, and sealing it. “Deliver these, each with a copy of today’s Morning Chronicle.” He told the young man, “And be quick about it.”
It was still several hours till dusk, but in summer midnight would follow not long after. The others must have heard by now of the murder, and while they might not have read the contents of the Morning Chronicle, they would know the seriousness of the matter.
Perhaps some too had considered what George considered now. That night had been a horrible one- but it had been full moon, and foggy to boot. If Mr Horrigan’s report of the body was accurate, well, something would have to be done. Isiah Fernsúlfer was not a... creature to be disobeyed, and he would most likely want to deal with the matter himself. But he could not, this had to be a matter dealt swiftly with the justice of the Council.
If, of course, Fernsúlfer had not already found the rogue responsible and dealt with it himself, without bothering the Council or even admitting the blame fell on his kin. George was certainly not very happy about that, but if that was the case, nothing more could be done, save a word or two with Mr Horrigan on the methods a man might employ to live long and happily now he was back in London.
He was snatched from his thoughts by a commotion from outside, and he was certain it was Fersúlfer or Horrigan, unsure which of the two he least wanted to see at that moment.
