| About: |  - - - Plot - - - The year is 2003 and the second war is over. The Order lost, Harry is dead, Voldemort reigns over all the Wizarding World and is turning it into a living hell for all those who oppose him. The only wizards who have any rights at all are those who have sworn their allegiance to the Dark Lord. Out of those, only the Purebloods are trusted. The rest, even if they have sworn themselves to the Dark Lord, are kept under tight watch at all times. For the opposed, it is a constant struggle to stay alive. Halfbloods and Muggle-borns are captured by Fenrir Greyback's clan of werewolf "police" and placed under the jurisdiction of Lucius Malfoy, head of the Department for the Control of Mudbloods (a new department created by Voldemort to handle the rest of the population). Once captured, the prisoner is marked with a symbol on their neck and a silver cuff is magically bound to their wrist:  Then they are put up for sale. They are sold as slaves of all type for whatever their master or mistress wants. The cuff is then engraved with their name and their master's name, and it can only be removed when the master either releases the slave, or sells him or her to someone else in which case the new master's name replaces the old one. There is a resistance. Those who were lucky enough to escape their masters or avoid capture all together have banded together to form a secret society, known as The Contention. The Contention is currently based in Hogwarts Castle as the school was shut down soon after Voldemort's victory. It has been ignored and forgotten by all, so The Contention is safe for the time being, gathering forces, though new arrivals are few and far between. To beat Voldemort, The Contention must be strong and stand together, creating their own society and way of life. With everything to lose, a cause to fight for and a bit of help from an unknown soldier, they have more than a fighting chance . . . - - - - - - - - Characters - - - - - - - - Not all characters are listed here. Mary-Sue's and Gary-Lou's will be shot on sight. 02) All OOC community posts are private, so please mark them as such. 03) A minimum of three userpics is required. 04) This is an NC-17 RP, so be prepared to act accordingly. 05) Although slash definitely is allowed, please don't make every guy or gal gay. 06) Incest is not allowed. 07) This RP needs to stay as canon as humanly possible. 08) You are allowed a max of 3 characters. 09) This a more dark/angsty game when it comes to The Contention VS the Death Eaters. But when they are in the castle alone, feel free to make it what you wish, funny, romantic, dramatic, anything.
