Title: Ron’s Really Bad Idea

Summary: He knows it's a bad idea, he really does. And it's not that he's desperate, exactly. He just can't take it any more.
Challenge: Ron tries to give Harry a love potion as a last resort. Only one of the other boys drinks it instead, without realising. Harry gets incredibly jealous. Ron panics. Sexual tension galore.
Warnings: Short appearance by another slash pairing that involves neither Ron nor Harry.

Title: Consequences

Challenge: Ron kisses Harry so he doesn't say 'Voldemort' and get them all caught. Things get complicated and confusing in the ensuing days.
Summary: AU, takes place during DH. An impulsive kiss changes everything, and not just for the trio. In the weeks that follow, Ron comes to realise that even the smallest gestures have their consequences.

Notes: Right, so…I’ve never written Harry/Ron before, and am in fact fairly new to the HP fandom as a whole. I wasn’t even going to participate in the claims since I knew I’d have only a week to write my story, but then this prompt caught my eye and I decided I had to have it. My apologies to the requester if this is not what you were hoping for, though I sincerely hope that it’s somewhere in the ballpark, or at least a pleasant surprise. Also, I quite possibly missed the entire point of the challenge and just drowned the poor prompt in angst. Initial read-through and general blathering by Jesse Hayes. Yay! I actually got it in on time! This fic turned out to be sooooo hard to write that I thought I'd never finish it. I've been through two different versions and eventually ended up starting halfway through and combining parts of both versions. So I hope you all think it was worth the hard work. :-)

Having written my fic TODAY, I can now chide you gently, without looking like a total tosspot.
All FQF entries are due tomorrow, October 2nd, Richard III's 555th birthday.
Will I accept feeble excuses and allow late entries?
Someone e-mailed me, claiming they'd been in hospital, but failing to attach a letter from their doctor....
Of course I will - what is better, late Ron's dangly bits, or no dangly bits, at all?
