A new Dark Wizard has called upon the Death Eaters, old members and new members alike, to help him organize a take over once and for all. It's 2012 and because of this, a new war is brewing in the Wizarding World. The group of Death Eaters came together in 2009 to start rebuilding themselves for their cause. Voldemort is gone but their ideals and beliefs still linger on among their social class. It's been nearly three years since they've started planning slowly while studying their old mistakes and their blind following of Lord Voldemort. Only now have the signs of their uprising started to show themselves clearly to the Order of the Phoenix. All of the random but violent muggle murders, disappearing Muggleborns and finally the re-appearance of the Dark Mark in the sky above Diagon Alley. The Daily Prophet deemed it a prank but the Order has started to reform as well to get to the bottom of the issue. Members of the Wizarding World are now living with the prejudice and fear once more that they've spent over a decade trying to forget. With the Ministry once more acting oblivious and on top of the situation - will the Order come out victorious once more?

Wizard War is a plot-centric Harry Potter game that incorporates all new characters into a new Wizarding War. The game includes all canon background and we do allow canon characters to be involved. We want to get a solid group of good, detailed and creative writers together who miss plotting and writing in this fandom. With some effort, Pugno will give you a little of everything! An opportunity to write a character dealing with a new war, their social lives, jobs and family. We want to incorporate drama, angst, comedy, fluff - you name it. We'll eventually incorporate fun OOC activities as well!

After several failed attempts to make a "laptop compyuter" run on magic rather than electricity, Committee on Experimental Charms and the Misuse of Muggle Artefacts Office decided to build from the ground up what would eventually become the prototype version of the tablet. With the tablets, wizards could still write normally as they had been for years, but with added features that were not present on the journal network -- the Internet.

But with any new technology comes a new world of problems. Anyone can post anything they want online and the Daily Prophet and Witch Weekly are finding it hard to compete with these amateur journalists. Anyone and everyone can find a blog via a search engine, making privacy a thing of the past and putting jobs in danger if you've forgotten to ward. The speed and ease of Wiznet has attracted self-starters and hell raisers, professionals and new graduates, to use it for good, for evil, or for anonymous fun without a pesky thing like consequences... right?

Have you ever wondered what your favorite Glee character would be like if they lived in the World of Harry Potter? Well, magicalglee is your chance to find out. However, unlike other Harry Potter/Glee crossover games, we've taken the time to develop what the US Magical world would be like and how that would affect the Glee characters. What this means is, basically, Kurt Hummel is not the Boy Who Lived, Rachel Berry is no Hermione Granger and Sue Sylvester is not Voldemort. They are the Kurt Hummel, Sue Sylvester and Rachel Berry that you know and love from Glee, just with added magic! So come on by, take a look around the game, and then reimagine your chosen Glee character in this Magical setting.

magicalglee is a primarily social game, looking for writers interested in character development and interaction. There will be gamewide plots thrown in from time to time (such as body swaps, love potions, maybe even a Dark Wizard or two and, most excitingly, a brand-new Wizarding Broadway Show based on the lives of the Hogwarts Founders!) that will be developed with player input and suggestions. The game takes place in 2018, putting most of the Glee characters at 22-23 years old. We will be canon through Season 3, but there is a lot of wiggle room with characterization since no one expects 23 year old Quinn Fabray to be the exact same as her 17 year old counterpart.

The game is in what we'll call Beta Test Mode, so we're also looking for players who would like to have input on shaping the game and the world it takes place in. As such, we are going to limit the initial involvement to 25 characters (with a cap of 5 original Glee-verse characters and 5 Harry Potter cross-over characters), with option for game growth down the line. Official game start will be May 15th, but we won't lack for things to do until then. There will be a variety of in-character memes and opportunities to play out backstory until the official game start.
