I really didn't imagine that something this good could come from a prompt that I dreamed up as a laugh- and how ironically perfect is it that you, like the narrator of the story, turned it around on me? Not that I'm sorry.

There's something about the language in this that gets under my skin, and I can't put my finger on what it is. It's just far enough below the surface that it slips through my grasp every time I try to catch and label it.

I can't wait to figure out who you are, because if I haven't already read every single word you've written, I will after reading this.
