About the headers:
Author/Artist is your IJ/LJ username. The mods will remove it before posting in order to maintain anonymity during the fest.
Character should be your ONE focus character for your piece. Same goes for Location and Object. If you use multiple characters, locations, and/or objects from the lists, that's great -- the more the merrier. You just have to pick one of each to list as your "primary" ones.
Other Characters is an optional place for you to list other characters (real or imagined) that are involved in your piece if you so choose.
Rating: Remember, as per the rules, all pieces should have at least an R rating.
Warnings: Please warn for anything in your piece that could be considered a squick or an extreme kink. You need not warn for things such as "explicit sexual situations" (duh) or "masturbation" (double duh). Don't feel that you must invent warnings; if your piece contains nothing extreme, simply leave "Warnings" out of your header.
Art Details is an optional place where artists may list additional details about their art such as media used, size of the art, etc.
Disclaimer is optional. You may include one if you wish; otherwise, leave it off.
Author's/Artist's Notes is an optional place for you to say anything else you'd like to mention about your piece or the creation thereof. Remember that this is an anonymous fest. Please do not list your betas by name, or include any other obvious identifying information here.
In order to submit your piece:
Be sure to turn off "smart quotes" in your document. (The reason for this, in case you've wondered, is that smart quotes screw up HTML coding and other things when you try to copy and paste something to IJ/LJ. If you aren't sure how to turn them off -- go to the Tools menu on your document, select the Auto Correct option, look for Replace as You Type options, and clear the box that says "Straight quotes with smart quotes.")
If your fic includes any special formatting (bold, italics, etc.), be sure to include the appropriate HTML tags in your document.
Please send your piece as an attachment in an email to wanking.mods@gmail.com.
