Summary: Growing up is hard to do, especially in the shadow of your father's reputation. Scorpius Malfoy has a tough time keeping his resolution to be the best Slytherin he can be when schoolboy games, unicorns, incompetent friends and a beloved enemy all conspire to teach him something different – and rather wonderful – about himself.

It's like you thought to yourself, "What exactly will push all of Dancetomato's buttons and make her squeal and read parts out loud have a hot flash (literally--my girlfriend just gave me a piece of paper to fan myself)?" And then you wrote it.

Of course, since you have no idea who I am, I am confident in saying, because I'm a lame-ass lurker who never comments, that's probably not the case. But it might as well have been. Scorpius' confusion made me wibble like wibbly thing. So happy!
