Summary: Harry had discovered that the best way to avoid the past was to live hard until a Quidditch injury leaves him needing care. During his recovery, he does something that could change everything between him and Ron. Unable to deal with the fallout of his actions, Harry goes to stay with Charlie, who is determined to help Harry recover and not just from his physical injuries, preparing him for his return home.

Author's Notes: bookofjude, I took your prompt of "Harry is playing Quidditch for England, but is injured and can't play." Plus I did a variation of "Harry is on the run from someone or something, but is found by someone else." I was aiming for flangst and smut but plot overtook most of the smut; it's still there—I promise, it's just buried a bit. 	Charlie's role here is fantastic-getting Harry to come out of his shell on pretty much every level. Making him whole again. Gotta laugh at first Harry then Ron making a hash of sharing their feelings with the other. That's so likely. 	Aww, delightful! Having Charlie 'fix' Harry after his injury, and from his emotional scars, is wonderful, and seeing Harry and Ron totally happy and fulfilled at the end is brilliant. Love it!! Harry at the Reserve, and getting a magical tattoo with Charlie, are some of my favorite things, too, so this fic gets bonus points for that! :P memories (Reply to this) (Thread)
