Wow!! I'm so glad I was just browsing the tags of this comm tonight and caught this story! It's so beautifully told, well-paced and with scorching hot sex. I loved the plot, too, as it unfolded. You surprised me more than a few times (I thought Sirius was in fact guilty of something, to have been executed by the Veil, and then I thought he'd been faking the no-memory thing...), but by the end it all fell into place so nicely. I have such a thing for OotP-era Sirius/Harry, but it's hard to come by these days. Thanks for this. It's a beautiful love story. :)

Also, I loved the Regulus memory, and the way it unfolded as Sirius looked at the room. And I loved that it was the Regulus memory that triggered the rest; I thought for certain it would be the Harry memory, but I think the story is more poignant that it wasn't. I'm still thinking about this story today, which is why I'm back (*g*), and I probably read too quickly last night, but one thing I'm wondering is about the drapes really dropping letters and hints to Harry? Was that real? It's not a critique - I'm sure it's explained somewhere that I missed, or else not really a big deal, but it occurred to me as the story was still floating through my brain today. :)

I am absolutely in love with this story, with the way you didn't shy away from anything--the angst, the chan, the stomach-clenching longing and hurt and jealousy and obsession. You balance the humor and the angst so well here, and your style is really engaging. I cannot wait to find out who you are! Well played!
