Culture. Blood. Friendship. There was a time when the lines were clear and the boundaries firm. That time died with Voldemort. Now, a generation who thought they'd already won the war are finding out that the war was a symptom, not the disease. Arguments over blood status have shifted focus but remain no less heated. Accusations are both far flung and festering quietly as light and dark fade to the background and new battles are begun. Schism is a social game with deeper game-wide plots as well. Set in real time, it revolves around the lives of those left to rebuild the Wizarding world and their struggle to see it become what they want it to be. The internet lives forever and travels faster than any owl, even without the help of magic. In the technology-saturated world of 2006, wizards are in danger of finding out first-hand what the consequences of that might be. It's getting harder every day for the Ministry to protect its citizens from exposure and the old tried-and-true methods haven't kept pace with muggle advancements. Without hard work, sacrifice and maybe a miracle or two, life as everybody knows it is doomed to change forever and they're running out of time to stop it. There are those who don't believe revealing magic to muggles would be such a terrible thing, however. Among them is a shadowy new group whose methods are unknown but whose motives have recently become clear. They want the Statute of Secrecy overturned, regardless of the consequences, and they aren't willing to wait forever. They've already started taking steps to force the Ministry's hand and although they seem unwilling to break the masquerade themselves, nobody knows if or when that might change. If you're not with them, you're against them - an "enemy of wizard-kind" whose name has been posted on a list of others like you. It's a list that's growing smaller as threats are made, blood is spilled and names are crossed off once and for all. | |

TOM RIDDLE IS DEAD!! What if Tom Riddle never became The Dark Lord and decided to lead a political campaign instead? What if his charm had won over the public and he was elected Minister of Magic? What if he never went after Harry Potter and his parents on that fateful Halloween night? What if his reign as Minister came to a sudden end? Who is the culprit? The members of the vigilante group that opposed his mistreatment of Muggleborns? Or perhaps a greedy underling craving more power? Hidden Agenda is a somewhat political Harry Potter Trio-Era AU RPG that explores the 'what ifs' had characters chosen a different path to what's written in the books. There is no Wizarding War but the prejudice against Muggleborns is still very much alive. 1979 is winding toward its own close. Conflicts between the Order of the Phoenix and the Death Eaters continue as Dark Lord continues pressing for dominion of the Wizarding world, and the Ministry will not stand for it. With the rise of a new administration five years ago, Britain has seen the situation grow more and more tense as all three sides raise the stakes one after another.
Laws prohibit travel without Ministry approval, and increasingly, democracy seems to be giving way to a police state. Muggleborns and their advocates disappear in the night as terrorists spill innocent blood in the streets. Pureblood manors are burned and ransacked as an organization for peace lashes out to fight fire with fire. Chaos ensues.
The loudest question on everyone's minds and lips is the simplest: who will win?
No one is certain, and no one is certain what will be left for those winners when the smoke clears.

It is the year 2001, the Wizarding World of Great Britain has been under the Dark Lord's rule for nearly five years. The Golden-trio is only marginally closer to solving the puzzle of victory than they were immediately following their beloved Headmaster's death. Muggleborns have been rounded up and held in cells at Azkaban. Those under the spell of the Complacens potion remain content with the government, but there are those who are beginning to fight it; those few that are beginning to build immunity to the potion and are assembling secretly underground. Where will you be when the world as we now know it burns to the ground? Will you continue to live under the draconian rule of the Dark Lord? Game opened on July 30, 2010. Epic battles are on the horizon, as is the battle between Harry and the Dark Lord, between good and evil. After the seventh year, comes the eighth. Voldemort has been defeated, the dust has settled and everyone is working hard to rebuild their lives following the end of the war. One would think that it would be a time of peace and healing... But not everyone is pleased with the demise of the Dark Lord. For he was a leader, and what's a leader without his followers? These followers didn't just disappear after Voldemort's death, no, they only went into hiding. Recruiting from their position in the shadows, the remaining Death Eaters are targeting the younger generation in order to restore their population and finish what they started. Those not aware of the darkness still surrounding them are going on with their lives as best they can. Only time will tell if things are really changing for the better. Or perhaps the world is merely being led into a false sense of security. |

INCOGNITO is an Alternate-Universe Marauder Era game set in 1980. The Statute of Secrecy has been broken, and Muggle awareness of Wizards has added a third element to the First Wizarding War. Wizards are required by Muggle Law to abide by the "Magical Registration Act" so they can be identified, but the Ministry of Magic is lax about Muggle Law, not giving it the full, serious weight it deserves. What if he was somehow able to convince his friend Albus Dumbledore to accompany him--to seek out their ambition of taking over the world and controlling it for the greater good? The Neuen Assistentenauftrag presently controls the majority of the European continent, administered jointly by Chancellor Grindelwald and the Lord Protector Albus Dumbledore. The disciplinary excesses of the Chancellor seem to be held in relative check by the Lord Protector, who is regarded as fondly as the Chancellor is feared. Within the NAA, the highest offense is treason. Those who are able to conform to its laws enjoy the all the freedoms and privileges offered in the world free of the Statute of Secrecy. Britain's integration into the NAA in 1970 was the source of much division within the British magical population. Some argued in favor of allying for the economic benefits and the ideological tenants of egalitarianism within the wizarding community, while others protested yielded power to what appeared to be an increasingly dictatorial regime. In 1978, the British Ministry of Magic operates as a loyal satellite of the NAA. Territories of the NAA are secretly policed by a German-based military division, the Order of the Phoenix, who see little difference between dissent and disloyalty. Over the past few years, an underground resistance has begun to arise in England, a resistance whose acts are becoming increasingly more daring as the death toll of the NAA continues to rise. This is a game reactivation - all old plots will be treated as backstory. |

It's 1998 and Wizarding Britain is a very different place. Voldemort controls a puppet Ministry and is seeking to expand his grasp into Europe and, eventually, the world. But he is not unopposed. There are many resistance groups working to keep him from accomplishing his goal and, among these, there is one that stands out from the crowd: The Order of the Phoenix. Secreting Muggleborns out of the country to keep them from enduring the horrors of Ministry-run "work camps", the Order is fighting a losing battle. Their last hope lies with a carefully guarded secret: The identity and location of The Prophesied One. Sic Infit explores the possibilities of what could have happened had James and Lily Potter stuck with Sirius as their Secret Keeper. What could have happened if Harry had never become The Boy Who Lived? What if Lord Voldemort had actually won? |
