FAILED ATTEMPTS • XXX.V.MMXIII
Failed attempts is a Harry Potter displacement game set in an unknown location run by unpredictable magic, in an unknown time. Canon characters (from the Founders through Next-Gen) appear from any point in their natural timeline and are forced to co-exist while everything around them remains uncertain. The opportunities are truly endless.

We have been open since the 30th of May 2013 and are looking for new faces to add in with the old! New characters! New ideas! New beginnings.

June 2nd, 2001. The final executions are nearly carried out, the Dark Lord is gone, the Death trials finalized and the appeals exhausted. Eight of the most infamous terrorist of the Second Wizarding War will die at midnight.

But no man wants to die, and these convicts have other ideas, other plans and resources inside the execution chamber. Before anyone realizes it, they've vanished- gone back to a time when no one will look for them.

Trouble is, they're not the only ones.


June 2nd, 1941. One last Air Raid. One last night of fear and fire, of foreign bombs landing on London streets. The end may not yet be on the horizon, but the darkest of nights are almost over.

The year is 1948 and the Wizarding World is blooming once more. Thoughts and memories of the First War and the diastrous aftermath have long been forgotten. Students at Hogwarts have finally gotten back into the swing of things.

But the climate is changing. Evil is once again rearing its ugly head. One thing after another and the gossamer threads of peace become brittle. Now everyone is on guard once more and constantly looking over their shoulder, wondering what could and will happen next.

Tom Riddle is out there and it's only a matter of time before he returns to Hogwarts to claim his prize, the position of Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher. Then the minds of the young witches and wizards will be in his grasp, to shape and mould.

Can Hogwarts claim to be the safest place for its students once again or is all hope lost?
