IT HAS BEEN JUST OVER A YEAR since the joint murders of two of Hogwarts' brightest students. While the arrest of suspect Damien Andrada put some minds to rest, recent attacks on the castle have led to heightened alerts, even tighter security, and Aurors everywhere.
NO ONE CAN AGREE if Hogwarts is the safest place on Earth, or a ticking time bomb. As the location of the murders, and then the site of an attack, Hogwarts has the tightest security out of anywhere in the magical world - but they still keep coming back.
BETRAYAL by the Keeper of the Keys has led to intensive interviews of all staff and faculty members, as well as replacements in both the administration and the teaching staff. Aurors sit in on every class session, and extracurricular activities are being strictly monitored.
BACK AT THE RANCH, students and adults alike are preparing for summer. For some, this means traveling abroad or visiting their parents -- for others, the summer campus has opened. There are reminders of instability everywhere, though, from Aurors patrolling the summer campus to random Veritaserum screenings.

ABOUT US
Hogwarts School is one of the oldest Harry Potter RPGs still alive today. Started in 2000, we offer inter-house Quidditch matches, dueling tournaments, and writing-based classes as well as full-scale magical skill system. Our administrative team is active, and there is a formal ball held every term (except this term, as we had our 1000 year festival!).
During the summer, the castle closes and the players move to the Hangout, a small summer camp on the other side of the lake. We offer chatrooms (not to be confused with chatboxes) on all of our boards, and we encourage OOC participation in plots! Currently, our active member base around 50 players, and we're always looking for more. Check us out!
