IN THE 1970s, the wizarding world saw the rise of Lord Voldemort, fearsome leader of the movement to eradicate muggles and muggle-borns from the world. The first five years of Voldemort's active stage were relatively quiet though. Very few actually knew an uprising of the purist movement was coming soon - and in the most extreme of ways. Towards the middle of the decade, he and his Death Eaters came more into the forefront, staging attacks on the muggle and wizarding worlds alike. No witch or wizard could believe what was happening. Not since the time of Grindelwald had such havoc been wrought on their world, let alone to the muggles as well.

However, life goes on. People get married, have children, continue living their lives, even with the constant threat over their heads. Students continue to attend Hogwarts and learn, fight, and fall in love. The fifth years prepare for their O.W.L.s. As they hurdle toward their exams, stress, along with the sparks of conflicting ideas, put strains on students and the relationships they hold, particularly one of Lily Evans and Severus Snape. The pinnacle moment of the breaking of their friendship was talked about for months afterwards. Severus Snape called his best friend a Mudblood in a moment of humilation and anger, causing the demise of their friendship, and putting into motion the events and actions that would eventually lead to the death of Lily and James Potter and baby Harry Potter destroying Voldemort the first time.

But... what if it had not happened? What if James had not approached Severus and found something else to direct his attention towards? Would things have been different? Could it have changed the course of history or would Lily and James marry still and have the saviour of the wizarding world? Only time can tell.

Death Eaters are infiltrating Hogwarts by recruiting students within, student's families are being torn apart, and the world is spiraling into a war based on bloodlines. Through all of this, how will Hogwarts students lead their lives? Where will their loyalties fall as they are forced to choose between joining Voldemort or defying him? One thing is certain though: They will feel like they are not in control of their own destinies.

Most wanted characters: James Potter, Peter Pettigrew, Kingsley Shacklebolt, Marlene McKinnon, Amycus Carrow, Meghan McCormack, Alastor Moody, Arthur and Molly Weasley, Gideon and Fabian Prewett, Edgar Bones, and more!

** Journal ** OOC Journal ** AD Journal

What began as a silly little prank among friends has ended up as a school wide fad.

A few ambitious Gryffindors decided that since they were unable to find dates to the Halloween Ball, they would create a journal were they could post 'single ads'. This journal was accesible by any female or male in seventh year and served as an anonymous way for girls and boys to 'hook-up'.

A Slytherin who wished to remain anonymous has taken the idea on step further. He set up a service where for two galleons anyone could send in their ad and have it open for response from anyone from the four houses. He assigned each person a codename that they could use when responding and required that the users only contact each other anonymously in the ad journal until the springtime when he is planning a revealing ball when everyone who spoke in the ads could meet face to face. He calls himself 'Romeo".

When Minerva McGonagall, the current headmaster, finds out about the journal ad service, she consults the teachers at Hogwarts. It is concluded that while inappropriate on so many levels, it is fostering a sense of togetherness. It is bringing together students from rival houses.

We are a 7th year game that is focusing on relationships and dating.

Currently looking for all Characters from all houses! Set to open October 29, 2008!

The REPUBLIC is a dark AU Trio-era Post-warts game that takes place more than a year after the Battle of Hogwarts on 2 May 1998. The game is DH-compliant until Harry Potter's confrontation with Voldemort in the forest -- this time, Harry was killed, Voldemort won, and Death Eaters have since continued being the power behind the Ministry of Magic.

Dumbledore's Army and the Order of the Phoenix are, however, coming together again in the autumn of 1999 after a year of disbandment, imprisonment, Ministry service, or forced hiding. We are currently recruiting for key characters on all sides to further a number of plots that have been planned for the next several months.

In the midst of the fearful time were the wizarding world is on the brink of an all out war, it was the professors of Hogwarts who decided to try to lighten up the everyday lives of their students. They spent that summer devising a plan for a bit of competition and light hearted fun but with strict rules and necessary precautions. And it wasn't until the student's first day of school, during the welcoming feast did Professor Dumbledore announce to them that this year they would bestow upon them the first and only Decaduel Competition. There shall only be one winner, a winner who shall be infamous within the walls of Hogwarts. A winner of extravagant prizes including a crown to call their own. With the entire Great Hall a buzz with all the news, Dumbledore then asks the many excited witches and wizards, who then is ready for the challenge, to receive the glory that is the Decaduel King or Queen?

Things are tense at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Rumors of Voldemort's return are being whispered amongst the students, voices hushed and nervous as the latest bit of information makes the rounds. Fear has settled heavily on many shoulders, quickly bringing uncertainty and mistrust to an already divided school. Who belongs to which side? Are there spies amongst the students? What will happen next, who will die next? Can anything be done?

The school may be safe from the outside wizarding world, but are the students safe from each other? The generations-long battle between the houses hasn't gotten better, and current tensions have done nothing but elevate the rivalries to a new level. To make matters worse, an anonymous girl has stepped things up, creating a vicious gossip paper that periodically and sporadically details information about her fellow students. Details that only close friends would know. Details that no one is ever happy about having shared with the entire student body.

It's called Bavardage. No one knows who publishes it, or how information is gathered for it. The only certain thing about it is that it is another source of trouble and uncertainty. With the teachers seemingly unable to stop new issues from going out and the issues getting progressively nastier and revealing more secrets, the last, thin threads of trust amongst the houses are fraying quickly. Friendships are being challenged and broken, and new, dangerous liaisons are being built.

The general consensus is that this girl must be stopped: but how? The purebloods are getting snobbier every year, the halfbloods are losing recognition for their minds and intellect and the muggleborns are treated as welfare cases on scholarship from the British Prime Minister. The whole student body is stuck in a downward spiral, trapped by an endless ring of rumors and lies. Libel and slander are not punishable, but instead encouraged. There's nothing more important than bringing down anyone suspected of being responsible for Bavardage. People are getting hurt, and not just by the paper. With no one able to trust anyone else and constant fights breaking out, the search for the guilty is getting nowhere extremely fast.

There's war brewing, and not just outside of Hogwarts. Somewhere within the castle that is supposed to be one of the few safe refuges left in the wizarding world, one girl is playing a dangerous game with her fellow students. Will the school collapse onto itself, or will the youth of the wizarding world be able to band together and overcome the fear, distrust, and rivalries that are threatening to tear Hogwarts apart?
