He furrowed his brow at Katie as she glared at him. What did I do? Oliver darted a gaze at Alicia, nearly rolling his eyes at how comfortable she'd made herself on his sofa. She hadn't hardly changed, still the same temper it seemed.
Katie's wince was obvious even from across the room. He wasn't about to let her stay so far away from him and suffer. Making his way to her, he took the ice pack out of her hand, inspecting the wound. It was going ot be black and blue soon enough if she didn't use a glamour on it. Oliver kissed the swell of her cheek gently and put the lumpy towel back against her skin, holding it to her to keep her close.
He fought to keep himself in check and not glare at Alicia accusingly. That didn't mean his tone wasn't cool. "I see you've not lost your right hook." He really didn't care who answered him as long as one of them talked so they get the moment over with. "Somebody want to tell me what I've missed so far? Alicia's back in town, that much is obvious." He added with a bit of arrogance he didn't exactly feel at the moment. "Can I assume you're not out here fighting over me while I sleep?" Oliver placed his hand at the small of Katie's back, not caring if that wouldn't make the situation better.
