Tuesday 10,3,00
WHO: Katie Bell, Oliver Wood, Alicia Spinnet
WHAT: Morning After
WHEN: Tuesday morning, very early
WHERE: Oliver's flat.
STATUS: In Progress
RATING: PG-ish
TAGGED?: Mmhm
F-LOCKED?: Yar

Katie awoke with a start, slightly panicking when she realized she was pinned down. Feeling completely unaware of her surroundings she calmed down when she recognized the warm body next to her. It's just Oliver. Don't be a ninny. A quick glance at the clock told her she had a couple of hours before the start of her first class. She let out a contented sigh as she snuggled next to him. Last night had been wonderful and though she felt a few twinges this morning, she didn't feel nearly as sore as the first time. He'd been gentle and considerate with her last night and she had loved every single moment. Right up to the part where she woke up next to him.

She'd been surprised at how they slept. He was a cuddler and seemed to always be touching her in some way during the night. Not that she minded. She actually liked it. She shouldn't have been surprised, even when she was sick he'd stayed close. Maybe not like he had after they'd become a couple. Oh Merlin. We're a couple. I'm in a relationship with Oliver Wood. A giddy feeling came over her and she snuggled closer to him. He was warm and comforting. There was really nothing for it. She was head over heels for this man.

It was different then she expected, he was different. She'd always had an idealized image of Oliver. They'd known each other for a long time but had never been especially close. Getting to know him now made her realize how she'd been right to care for him. He was supremely caring, considerate, ridiculously modest and very much possessive. It thrilled her. She felt confident he'd be there to pick her up when she fell, tend her scrapes and offer support when she needed it. She supposed if she was going to be staying here or he was going to be staying with her, he'd realize she could be moody. Especially when one of her headaches came on.

She turned in his arms, watching him sleep, never more content in her life than she was right now. A knocking came from the front door and Katie glanced back down at Oliver. He didn't stir.

She quickly slid into her jeans and grabbed one of Oliver's t-shirts and threw it over her head. It was a little early to be knocking on someones door.

Closing the bedroom door a smidge, she hurried over to the door.

Katie's eyes widened when she came face to face with Alicia Spinnet.

Alicia was shocked. Shocked and angry. How could Oliver...Oliver Wood....Oliver Wood who loved quidditch....leave his team? Surely this rumour was just that. Nothing more than an awful rumour.Or perhaps a really fucking stupid practical joke gone awry. It didn't take much for Alicia to track him down. She'd always had a knack for stalking (though she rarely put it to use except for the rare emergencies, such as this).

She had a feeling he wouldn't appreciate the early morning hour, but she assumed it would be the one time of day that she'd be sure to catch him. And boy did she have a few things to say. When she reached the door of the flat that was supposedly Oliver's, she let out an annoyed knock. Of course, knock's typically don't have tones but this one was unmistakable.

After waiting a few moments, the door opened. Alicia drew a breath, ready to lay into him, when she realized it wasn't a him at the door. Alicia raised an eyebrow at Katie, obviously confused. Surely Alicia wasn't that bad at getting addresses that she mixed up Katie Bell and Oliver Wood. She took a step back to take another look at the flat's number. Definitely Oliver's. Of course, that wasn't the only thing of Oliver's she saw. Was that his shirt her friend was wearing?

It didn't take a genius to realize what she'd just walked into. Or near, technically. Now was certainly not a time for cheery greetings for her long lost "friend". "The fuck?" Alicia asked, rather loudly.

Katie was frozen. Her mouth went dry and her heart sped up to a ridiculous pace. Alicia was standing in front of her and she was not happy. Katie wasn't quite sure what she was supposed to do or even say. She was in Oliver's clothes, it was very early in the morning, her hair was probably standing up all over the place and she was now standing face to face with Oliver's ex and her best friend.

"Alicia," she stated, torn between happiness and seeing her and something akin to near terror. Biting her lip, a sure sign she was nervous, Katie stepped back and opened the door, motioning her to come in. She seemed unable to find her voice.

Shivering, she looked around, some of her clothes were still in the living room from last night. Katie picked up her sweater and wrapped herself in its protective warmth.

"How are you?" her voice cracked, realizing this was going to be an interesting morning. Oh Merlin. I'm in for it now.

As Katie stepped back and motioned her in, Alicia didn't move. Instead, she looked around inside, noting all the clothes thrown around. Always classy, Bell. Alicia was torn between decking Katie or giving her a chance to explain, though the latter seemed the least likely choice. This definitely wasn't how Alicia had planned for this to go. Time for a redo.

Alicia forced a small smile as she put her hand up."Hang on just a second. We're going to do this again. I think something's gone wrong," she said as she reached for the door handle and pulled it closed, Alicia still standing outside the flat.

She took a deep breath before knocking again, only this time, much more politely. After all, maybe it was the annoyed knock that had summoned Katie in the first place. One day she'd learn to knock like a normal person.

Katie stood there, momentarily stunned that Alicia closed the door and then proceeded to knock again. Of course, the anger she saw on her face...she knew her friend had a temper. Maybe this was her way of counting to ten? Katie hurriedly picked up her clothing and tossed it into the bedroom.

"Oliver," she whispered loudly, looking around for her bra. If she hurried, she might be able to get it back on.

She really couldn't believe this was happening. What the bloody hell was she going to do? Alicia was likely to deck her and ask questions later. Merlin's beard she was thoroughly fucked. Katie slipped out of Oliver's shirt and back into her bra and henley before throwing her sweater back on.

Hurrying back to the door, Katie opened it quickly, waiting for the first punch to fly.

"Alicia..."

While Katie did who knows what in the flat (probably Oliver again) and left Alicia outside waiting, she had plenty of time to think. Here she was, trying to do her friend Oliver a favor by talking some sense into him and instead, she finds not only him, but KATIE, practically in the throws of passion BEHIND HER BACK. Well, okay, so Alicia hadn't said a word to either of them in quite a long time, and it's not like they needed her permission to be adults, but now just wasn't the time for that sort of logical thinking! Now was a time for action! Sure, the original game plan had changed, but the new one (doing SOMETHING about her adulterous friends) was still one that was full of action!

The door finally reopened and Alicia's fist did indeed fly. She didn't swing as hard as she usually did (this was her friend, after all), but it was certainly enough to hurt. It was either going to be her fist, or a brick she summoned out of the wall. If Katie only knew how nice Alicia was being by only punching her, she'd be thanking Alicia.

Alicia then barged into the apartment, bumping slightly into Katie. "Nice wardrobe change," she snorted as she looked around the room, mildly amused that Katie had obviously moved the clothes despite the fact that Alicia had more than a clear view of them before.

She'd been prepared for it, she expected and yet, somehow she still managed to get hit. Eyes watering, Katie brought her hand to her cheek. "Merlin Alicia," she groaned, holding her cheek and stumbling backward when Alicia all but body-checked her. That might've been a bit of an exaggeration but her face was throbbing and she was pretty sure she was going to have to into class with a giant bruise on her face.

"Was that absolutely necessary?" she asked, closing the door behind her friend. Katie rolled her eyes but found that any facial movement were painful. Between Oliver and Alicia, her body was bruised and battered. She much preferred Oliver's way to Alicia's.

Katie looked warily at Alicia, touching her tender cheek. "That hurt. I can't believe you hit me."

"Very necessary," she responded, turning back around to face Katie. What did Katie really expect? That Alicia would never find out that she and Oliver were shagging? Or that Alicia would be completely okay with it? Because she wasn't. She felt betrayed. Did neither of them even feel guilty? Or at least guilty enough to try to be nice and get back in touch with Alicia?

"Sorry, mate. Had to bloody do something! What I don't get though...." Alicia began, feeling much better now than she had a minute ago, "is why the fuck you changed clothes? You know I saw you, yeah? Changing just makes you seem more guilty," she said with a shrug before plopping down on Oliver's couch.

Oliver'd had possibly the best night of sleep ever in his life. Part of it was that Katie had exhausted him, but also, she'd stayed in his arms and just the comfort of having her near had eased his slumber. It was odd waking up with her not there. Sure he woke up every morning that way, but this was the morning he expected differently. Did he hear her out in the lounge? He smiled to himself and rubbed at his eyes with the heels of his hands as he moved to the edge of the bed to find his boxers.

He'd ever really had a problem with modesty. At least not in his own home. Even with the morning chill in the air he didn't see the need to find more clothing. He opened the bedroom door and padded out into the flat, stretching his arms over his head as he yawned and scratched his chest. The sight before him had him coming up short and nearly choking on that deep breath from his yawn.

His brows were furrowed and every innate male instinct he had screamed "DUCK". Quickly, he took in the scene before him. Alicia Spinnet? And why the bloody hell is Katie holding her face? With his spine snapping straight, Oliver stood at his full height, over the two witches. He tried, very hard, not to incite the situation further. His tone held a warning they'd both heard more than a few thousand times on the pitch. "Maybe now isn't the time for all of us to catch up, yeah?"

Katie shot Oliver a very dirty look as she stomped over to the kitchen. Her face was throbbing and Alicia was just being cruel. "I didn't want to be rude," she snapped, throwing ice into a towel and wrapping it with a rubberband. Truthfully, Katie felt lucky Alicia'd just used her fist. She'd probably be in hospital if she'd thought to pull her wand out.

Glancing back into the living room, Oliver was standing full height, no slouching and his voice held that tone. She walked back towards the living room, making sure to keep her distance from Alicia and to stay just as far from Oliver. Placing the pack on her cheek, she winced at the cold. Her cheek was swelling and getting quite puffy. She knew she was going to have a black eye.

"I doubt the timing could get worse," she muttered, frustrated and in pain. "Might as well be now." She wondered if he was going to put some clothes on. Not that she didn't enjoy seeing him thus. Who wouldn't?

He furrowed his brow at Katie as she glared at him. What did I do? Oliver darted a gaze at Alicia, nearly rolling his eyes at how comfortable she'd made herself on his sofa. She hadn't hardly changed, still the same temper it seemed.

Katie's wince was obvious even from across the room. He wasn't about to let her stay so far away from him and suffer. Making his way to her, he took the ice pack out of her hand, inspecting the wound. It was going ot be black and blue soon enough if she didn't use a glamour on it. Oliver kissed the swell of her cheek gently and put the lumpy towel back against her skin, holding it to her to keep her close.

He fought to keep himself in check and not glare at Alicia accusingly. That didn't mean his tone wasn't cool. "I see you've not lost your right hook." He really didn't care who answered him as long as one of them talked so they get the moment over with. "Somebody want to tell me what I've missed so far? Alicia's back in town, that much is obvious." He added with a bit of arrogance he didn't exactly feel at the moment. "Can I assume you're not out here fighting over me while I sleep?" Oliver placed his hand at the small of Katie's back, not caring if that wouldn't make the situation better.

Alicia's back in town, that much is obvious. Alicia couldn't help but scoff at the attitude he gave. "Right. Because you two were clearly both talking about how you wondered what I was up to," she said bitterly, more to herself than to either of the other two. They really expected her to believe that they had both hooked up, and never once mentioned Alicia? Which made their lack of contact even more appalling.

Alicia had to hold back being sick. Somehow, seeing him baby over Katie was infinitely more upsetting than just seeing Katie in his clothing post-shag. Once her stomach had a moment settle, she stood up and pointed towards Oliver. Just because this had gone off to an awful start, didn't mean she couldn't yell at him for what she came here for.

"You!" she said loudly, pointing at Oliver for emphasis. "What's this I bloody fucking hear about you leaving Quidditch or some shite? Forgive me if I'm wrong, but are you not Oliver bloody Wood?" Alicia said, clearly disturbed by the news and upset that she was finally having to say any of it out loud.

She barely glanced at Katie. Boy, she was really hamming it up, wasn't she?

Oliver turned his gaze to his ex and smiled smugly just to irritate her. "As a matter of fact, you did make your way into our conversation." Not that he was going to elaborate on that and how Katie had been concerned about poaching him from her friend. "Are you going to tell us now or just keep us guessing? Owls work both ways, Spinnet."

He pulled his arm back from Katie, letting her hold her ice pack as he folded his arms across his bare chest. Wood figured he better have all his faculties about him if he was going to do battle with Alicia. Slowly, he raised his brow at her finger, waiting for the expletive that would go with it. ...and there it was.

Oliver shrugged. Hearing the truth of it yelled at him brought it home in painful realization. It hadn't been an easy decision. He feigned his nonchalance but his voice was raised in defense. "I'm still Oliver bloody Wood. What of it? You can't play the game forever." That was the cheapest, lamest excuse he'd ever given.

Alicia wasn't quite ready to talk about why she hadn't been in contact. It was easy to accuse others of being shit friends, but when it was turned back on her, she didn't really like facing the truth. And somehow, she doubted either of them would fully understand where she was coming from if all she could say was that she just couldn't write them. It sounded stupid even to her.

She was literally taken aback at his response. A shrug paired with that excuse? If you could even call that an excuse. It just made her fume even more. "Not the damn Oliver Wood I know, that's for sure!" she said hotly. The Oliver Wood she knew didn't just up and quit playing Quidditch. He especially didn't quit to open a bloody fucking shop.

"Forever?!" she spit out with a laugh before starting back up again. "Right, but you can bloody well play more than a few fucking years!" She just couldn't even believe it. She'd still held up hope that the whole thing had been some sort of joke or poorly planned publicity stunt. But he had just practically owned up to it, hadn't he? Alicia felt faint

Oliver chuckled almost baiting her when she didn't replay. "I guess there's time now to catch up for the next three or four years if you want." If there was one thing about their relationship that had been absolutely perfect, it was the fact they could bicker. About anything. And everything. What was it about any issue that had him taking one side and Alicia the other?

"Maybe you don't know me as well as you thought you did. Things change. Priorities change." Why was she so upset? It wasn't like she owned the team he'd quit, taking his galleon-generating stats and skills with him.

Narrowing his eyes on her, he refused to answer her question that was probably meant to be rhetorical anyway. "What does it matter to you, Spinnet? With me out, with Warrington out, your Arrows might actually have a shot this season." He smirked, truly taunting her. Oliver would probably never stop goading Alicia in that rivalry.

"Bollocks to you and your catching up!" she replied, realizing as soon as it was out, how completely ridiculous it was. Of course she planned on catching up. At some point. Giving another quick glance to Katie, Alicia reassured herself that now was not the time she wanted to catch up with either friend. She wanted nothing to do with their.....togetherness. "I suppose this," she said, hand waving towards both of them, "means we're not getting back together anytime soon," she said nonchalantly. Honestly, she hadn't planned on getting back together with him. That morning. But, it was a thought that came to her, and Alicia wasn't one to stifle her thoughts, no matter how random and out of place they may be.

Alicia drew in a breath and opened her mouth, retort at the ready when the gravity of the last thing he said hit her. She took a step back, inhaled sharply, and brought a hand to her chest dramatically. "Here I am, making a special trip from home to see you, worried about you and your well bloody fucking being, and you're going to talk shite about my team? Low fuckin' blow," she said, shaking her head in disbelief.

It was only a moment before she was right back into her rant, however. "And what the fuck is this bollocks about that arsehole Warrington? Insinuating he's anything special on the field? What, we end a relationship and I'm suddenly the worst fucking player in the league under Warrington?"

Oliver just stared at Alicia not daring a glance to Katie to see her reaction. "Any time soon?" He had no idea what to say to that. She wanted to get back together? Was she off her bloody nut? He finally answered her, his tone probably too tender for the words he spoke. "No, Ali. We're not getting back together." Wasn't that what she said when they split? Or was that his decision? He couldn't remember. Not that it mattered now.

Wood actually snorted. "Yes, your charity for my well bloody fucking being is touching." Gods he loved to mock her. It wasn't intended as cruel, it was impassioned. He was giving as good as he got. "Well, you play for the Arrows. Do I need to say more?" It wasn't that Appleby was horrid but he still had pride for the club he'd flown for. That wasn't something that died over night. Or even a few months.

"Now I didn't say Warrington was the worst player. Those are your words." Oliver was starting to feel much more bare than just being in his boxers. He accioed his jeans from the previous night, stepping into them even if he didn't bother to fasten them. At least Spinnet couldn't eviscerate him with his balls hanging out of his shorts. There was some concern that Katie remained quiet through this entire exchange.

Oliver paused and scratched the back of his head. "How are your stats this year?" He genuinely wondered and was surprised he didn't know. It's because I put Quidditch Weekly on the counter for sale and don't have time to read them anymore.

Alicia shrugged. So he said they weren't getting back together. Worse tragedies had befallen her over the years than Oliver Wood trading Alicia in for Katie Bell. She honestly hadn't even realized she still had romantic feelings for him until Katie had answered the door in his shirt. And as much as she loved the bickering, she had a feeling that more likely than not, he would disapprove of some of her newer lifestyle changes. Getting smashed and picking fights on a regular basis wasn't behavior people usually appreciated out of their significant others.

"Well, Mr. I'm-so-good-at-Quidditch-I-decided-I-should-open-up-a-shop-instead," she began, taking a break after the not-so-clever, lengthy name. "if there's anything wrong with how I play, which I assure you there isn't...Did you hear I'm in talks to get drafted onto the Welsh National Team?" she asked excitedly, getting off topic. It took her a second to pull out of her excitement and continue her previous thought. "Erm....oh right! If there was anything wrong with how I play, just realize who did most of my coaching, you git," she said, narrowing her eyes playfully at him

Alicia hadn't even noticed Wood's lack of clothing until the jeans came flying out, managing to scare the shit out of her in the process. Arguing with Oliver in all manners of clothing was practically second nature to her at this point, so it was no wonder she hadn't paid much mind to it.

"Our stats?" she questioned, ensuring she had heard him correctly. "Our stats?! So you don't play Quidditch anymore, now you don't even bloody follow it? Our stats are "pretty fucking amazing", those are our stats!" she said proudly. Sure, the Arrows weren't the best team in the league. But they were definitely starting to get up there. And if Oliver Wood wasn't going to even take the time to find out how the team his old teammate played on was doing, she wasn't going to humor him by listing off stats.

What was that when she shrugged? He was over her. Oliver sure as hell wasn't going to get upset about her shrug of dismissal like she was tossing away an old quaffle. He snorted at her christening of him with new name and all. Their conversation became even more amusing as she got off track and he actually grinned. His eyes were full of devilment. "What can you expect from the Welsh?" He did remember exactly which buttons to push.

Oliver let his amusement show. "I can't be blamed for how you play now!" He chuckled and winked at Katie. "I did the best I could with you raw lot." His eyes were drawn back to Spinnet, a smile tugging at his lips. "If you've forgotten all that I taught you, I'd say that's your problem. Maybe I should have opened a Quidditch school not a shop."

He moved around her and the sofa and Katie to grab a bottle of butter beer. This conversation was amusing but he was parched. It had been a long time since he'd done verbal warfare like this. "I follow what I think is important." Honestly, he didn't mean that as a rub. He just didn't have the time. Maybe once the shop was settled. "I'm happy for you, Alicia. I'm glad things are good." Belatedly, he added, "You could have owled and told me all this."

Katie had been following their exchange with avid curiosity. She'd never seen them as a couple but wasn't surprised that they fell back into their old habits from school. If anyone, other than Ange, could fight with Wood, it was Alicia. She held her pack to her eye and only put it down when she could no longer feel anything. She was quite overdone, to be honest. Her guilt, which she still hadn't got over, flared again when she realized Alicia still had feelings for Oliver.

There was a lot of passion in the room at the moment. Oliver's defense, Alicia's demands. Katie had always been a little more neutral than the rest of her teammates. Her passion was muted and she rarely yelled. In fact, she hated yelling. Oh, it was quite easy to pick a fight with an opposing team member, but with those she loved or deeply cared about? She weakened.

Stepping into this conversation was not something she even remotely desired to do. In fact, she wished she could just live and let them have it out. Her mind wandered, knowing that they must've argued like this a lot. That it probably always ended in sex. It was rather disconcerting.

Katie really didn't know what she could add to this conversation. It'd be awhile before Alicia decided to get over what she'd done if she ever got over it. "I'm really sorry," she blurted out, stepping forward. She halted, not really wanting to get too much closer but at the same time, wanting to hug her friend.

I follow what I think is important. Those words hurt more than they probably should have. Especially since Oliver had clearly had no clue what Alicia had been up to. She didn't even care that he didn't still have couple-y feelings for her. But that sentence shouldn't have come out of his mouth if he gave a shite about her at all as a friend. It was time to back down. She wasn't going to scream herself hoarse trying to talk sense into him if he didn't even care to occasionally try to read up on old friends. Especially since it was obvious that despite her lack of contact, Alicia had still kept a watchful eye on the important events of Oliver's life.

"Right. Not important. Got it. Wouldn't hold your breath for an owl, mate," she said, practically growling out the last word. How were people failing to see the Alicia was the victim here? Walking into your exes place first thing in the morning to find out that he was shagging your best friend was not easy news to handle. Especially when it made her realize she wasn't quite as over Wood as he was over her.

Upon hearing her words, Alicia turned toward Katie, nearly having forgotten she was in the room. Did she just.....apologize? After getting punched? "Grow a bloody backbone," she said in the most light hearted tone she could muster. Alicia did want to catch up with Katie. Even if it meant trying to hold in her temper at her friends' current relationship status. She did not, however, want to spend much more time around Oliver. She could already feel her wand hand getting twitchy when she looked at him. "Have any free time soon? I'll be in the area for a few days. We should have lunch or some shite," she said, trying to remain as calm and composed as possible.

Katie's heart was breaking for Alicia. She could tell her friend was upset by Oliver's words, by the whole situation. It really did nothing to ease Katie's conscious. She really was sorry. Katie let out a soft sigh, feeling as though she might cry. She hated seeing Alicia hurt.

Her words stung but Katie didn't think they were intended that way. Surprised by the olive branch, Katie nodded. "Of course," she said, touching her face. "You could come up to castle maybe...or we could go down to the Three Broomsticks?" Like we used to .

Unable to hold it in anymore, Katie hurried over to Alicia and wrapped her arms around her friend. "I really am sorry," she whispered, squeezing her tight. Pulling away, ready to be punched or hexed, Katie gave Alicia a tremulous smile. "I didn't mean for it to happen...It just sort of did."

Alicia flinched at the thought of going near the castle. She still had nightmares about the last time she was there. The Battle (coupled with her father's death) had left Alicia in all sorts of little pieces that she never got the feeling she really found all of. It had made life difficult. Or at least, it had made facing life difficult. Running away from it was a skill that Alicia had gotten quite adept at. Going back to the castle, however, was more of a "face your past" than a "runaway!" sort of deal. Probably wasn't a good idea to go near there just yet.

"Three Broomsticks. Just send me an owl or something," she said, not really liking the Three Broomsticks much better. It would only remind her of how awesome everything used to be...with Angelina and the twins and their whole big fun group. But at least it was better than the castle.

Before she knew what had happened, Alicia had stiffened and was reflexively shoving Katie off of her while simultaneously reaching for her wand. Alicia didn't do well with being touched these days. Well, she kind of didn't do well with anything that didn't involve alcohol these days. But touching was sure to get her battle ready. It was part of the whole "horrific battle flashbacks" thing. Wand at the ready, it took a moment for Alicia to snap out of it. She hated when she flew into auto-pilot like that. It rarely ended well. At least she had stopped herself before actually doing anything to Katie, however.

"Erm, right, so....maybe I should go," she said, blushing slightly. All her friend wanted was a hug after not seeing each other for years and Alicia couldn't even manage that without heading straight towards violence. She hoped Katie didn't take it personally. After all, Alicia had extended the olive branch, so to speak! If she had wanted to hurt her friend, she wouldn't have bothered, right? Merlin Alicia was bad at this friend thing.

Katie wasn't surprised she was pushed away. But, Alicia raising her wand, made her realize how much her friend had changed. Alicia hadn't been the same since the Battle and she sometimes wondered if her friend was channeling some of her anger from that horrid day. Stumbling back a bit Katie looked back at Oliver, giving him a small smile.

She wasn't sure if she should leave or not. Maybe they had some things to talk out. Of course, it was getting on in the morning and Katie had class in an hour or so. Frowning, she stepped away looking back and forth between Oliver and Alicia.

"I could go," she said, tugging on her sweater. "You know...if you two need to talk or anything." Putting on a bright smile, the one that didn't reach her eyes, she shrugged. "I'm sure you have catching up to do and I have class soon and breakfast will be served shortly..."

She was rambling. She was nervous. She couldn't help but be. Oliver seemed to be thoroughly enjoying his arguments with Alicia. There was loads of passion between them and that just about unnerved her more than being swung at. Glancing back at Alicia, she gave her friend a nod.

"Perhaps this weekend?" she asked, wondering what would happen but at least if Alicia killed her, there'd be witnesses around.

"We don't need to talk." Alicia responded quickly, giving another quick look over to Oliver. Alicia had done her talking, well...yelling, and Oliver had talked back. Of course, Alicia hadn't insinuated that he was unimportant like he had with her. As far as she was concerned, unless he did some major apologizing in the near future, she was pretty much done talking with Oliver in general.

Alicia looked back at Katie. She wasn't sure if she should even try to apologize for freaking out on her a few moments earlier. Not the punching part, but the wand drawing during what should have been a touching moment part. She reached out to Katie and awkwardly patted her on the shoulder a few times. "Didn't mean to ruin your morning, Bell," Alicia said sincerely.

She could imagine that Katie was pretty happy with Oliver. After all, Alicia (mostly) had been. And if someone had barged in and caused this much trouble while she was having a nice morning with Wood, she would have been royally pissed. She could only assume that Katie felt the same.

Katie nodded, sad that her friend was hurt. Frowning, Katie looked at Alicia closely and shook her head. "You didn't ruing my morning, Ali." Smiling, she realized she meant it. It was good to see Alicia. Though, the circumstances could've been better but she had hope for mending this. In fact, Katie would fix this if this was the last thing she ever did. Somehow, she was going to keep both of them in her life.

"I don't think he meant to hurt your feelings," she whispered, her voice soft so only Alicia could hear. "He wouldn't do that to you."

Smiling actually hurt but she wouldn't let Alicia know that. "We'll talk more later? Yes?" Katie wasn't the most forth-coming of the Gryffindors but she could be bloody stubborn when it came to the people she loved. She would resolve this and she would help Alicia.

Alicia just listened to what Katie was saying to her. Katie was such a liar! There was no way something like this didn't ruin her morning. Not even the nicest and sweetest person would be capable of just brushing this sort of encounter off. And even if Katie was capable, there was no way her face didn't still hurt at least a little bit. Or maybe Alicia had lost power in her right hook. Who knew. What a weird morning it had been. It was definitely time to go get some sleep.

And as far as what Wood did or didn't mean to do, Alicia really couldn't have cared less at this point. He'd said what he'd said and Alicia had taken it at face value. She wasn't going to try to read into what Oliver might have actually meant or some shite. He wasn't a girl who insisted on hiding all of her true messages. He was a grown man capable of expressing his true feelings. Even if they were crap.

Alicia gave a small smile bye to Katie. She really was just too understanding and sweet of a friend. Which actually made Alicia slightly more furious. Katie had no fight in her. There was something very unsettling about that. Alicia then headed out the door, making sure to part with an obscene hand gesture in Wood's direction.

After they said their goodbyes, Katie was a bit quieter than normal. She was already dressed and more than a bit weary after last night. This morning, while unpleasant, was still something she'd have to deal with later. Her face was throbbing and her head hurt. Not to mention the soreness from last night.

She didn't say much, just a few quiet words of goodbye to Oliver before grabbing her things and heading out the door. Alicia was back and she still had feelings for Wood. It was obvious. It scared Katie.

Her walk back was quick and uneventful. A fast shower had her ready and a quick wave of her wand had her face covered and hair bound in curls. The day was long and seemed unending but she made it through and still had some time before she'd see Alicia again.
