Scorpius said his first word today. I know I said he was saying Daddy before, and perhaps he was, but he was certainly saying Issy this evening. I think he's said it before, it just didn't occur to me. But Horace is right, there can't be a name he hears as often as Issy's.

No, I can't send this letter. But there is the medal dinner on Saturday night and I've been thinking that I might go. I have my invitation, of course, and there is no way you cannot be there. After all, it is your medal, however much you hate the idea. I was proud. I want to see you applauded. I almost wrote wanted, but it's not true that I've stopped at all. I have my invitation, they will seat us together. Will it make a difference?

What are the alternatives? This?

You've no idea how glad I am that this week is almost over... well, for me. If the week actually ever ends. But, that's beside the point. I just thought that I'd let you know that I've managed to return to Hogwarts before 11pm tonight.
