Summary:Harry thought that life after the war would be calmer, but the new Minister has a vendetta and has evoked an old law that threatens the lives of any who stand in his way. His latest victim, Viktor Krum. No one thinks much on it until all the people who've been arrested start disappearing without a trace from their cells. Harry is put on a task force to hunt him down, but when the group turns on him, Krum is the one to save him. Trapped in a time not their own with only cryptic clues from an even more cryptic Unspeakable, they have to work together to figure out the mystery of the TimeLoop. Author's/Artist's Notes: When I chose Viktor as my unloved character, I decided to leave out his accent, or at least not to try to imitate it. There is a nice post about accents here which explains better than I could possibly do the reasons for leaving it out. I hope, Femme, that you don't mind that I did. The lines from the Bulgarian folk tale comes from A Spell in Time. A lemniscate is an ellipse whose most common form is the locus of points whose distances from two fixed points is a constant. Bernoulli, who discovered the lemniscate in 1654, described it as "...a lying eight-like figure, folded in a knot of a bundle, or of a lemniscus, a knot of a French ribbon". Thank you, wonderful beta, who makes it all better. There is nothing I love more than a woman who is secure in her body, even if it's not what society considers "pretty." Millie's a big, woman, and she has no desire to be a Skinny Minnie. In fact, she can't imagine what men see in women who are. She's completely comfortable in her own body, and that was a joy to write. I stayed with British English, even at the times we're in Bulgaria, since I have no idea what Bulgarians would say, and I removed Viktor's accent, since I find it terribly tedious.
