As soon as I saw the reveals, I knew there was a treat in store for me. And now I've had the time to enjoy this. What a wonderfully-told story. Ollivander's despair and brokenness are so realistic. And his slightly-oldfashioned, courteous style in addressing Luna is spot on.
I love your Luna, btw. Perceptive, gentle, and courageous, and beautifully IC, too.
And Hagrid! What a triumph. Exactly the qualities one feels he has, and his new wand fits him so very well.
I loved the Snape/Minerva cameo's, too. Minerva telling Snape she'll kill him if he dies on her, and that wonderful 'put a sock in it' speach of hers.
