This is superb, Mystery Author! I love all of the attention to detail that moves this story from 'well-told' into 'real' (oh gods, Sirius's flat . . . and his behavior whist in it!), the interactions between the friends (especially the Peter whom Sirius had no reason to not trust), and the long stretches of utter boring routine which must have been between the terrifying moments. How nice that Rosie could turn routine into riveting! They definitely steamed up *my* glasses, at any rate. :-D A perfect little slice of 1st war post-Hogwarts life - Brava!
