"there are always right and wrong answers." There are so many wonderfully poignant and beautifully crafted lines in this. That is one, but I couldn't begin to list them all. I love the delicate way you look at our tendency not to learn from history and Ivo is such a wonderful teacher of this. The descriptions of the camp are so very vivid, it really took me there and the challenges around privacy and getting used to such an environment seemed spot on. I also love the idea of magical rationing -- what a brilliant way to adapt a wartime reality to the magical world. The glee Ivo takes in revealing his secret made me grin. The interactions between Minerva and Snape are just lovely and so natural and genuine. The memory of the sex scene is beautiful, as if the ending. What a lovely story!!!
