The comparison of the room to a womb was pure brilliance. It brings us straight into a jarring setting. Well done.
But the ache had dulled long since. A wand. It seemed like a fairy story. Those lines let me understand just how hard this process was for him. No wand, and learning to live with the ache until he noticed it no longer. What a life for a wizard!
Oh my goodness. I must admit, I've never previously been much of a fan of the Death Eaters in general. However, the tenderness, love and affection you brought to this piece reminded me that beneath all affiliations of Light and Dark, Good and Evil, they are all humans regardless. They still wish for their own worlds of peace and happiness, regardless of whether they think violence and darkness will bring it or peace and light.
This is such a beautiful peace that humanises the characters. I never expected to be this affected by a Death Eater piece, and yet here I am, almost at the point of tears! Well done!
