When the reveals went up this morning, I went through the list to find yours because I totally hadn't picked it out, only to notice I hadn't left a review of this one! I certainly read it not long after it was first posted - possibly late at night (which is the time they were always posted, for me). I suspect this might have been one of the ones where I left the tab open to review in the morning when I had more brain, but then somehow forgot to. My bad.
Anyway, this was such a wonderful story. I love how well rounded the characters are, how Filius and Severus complement each other, equally as intelligent as each other, but opposites in how they choose to interact with the world around them. The present segments are powerful and the past ones are interesting and sweet and funny all at once or in different places. And I love the ending. I love the intellectual puzzle, and Snape as a ghost. How appropriate.
Also, quite randomly I really like the soaking in lavender bubbles thing. I don't know quite why. Probably just what it says about Filius' character, or something, but for some reason I really like that *g*.
