This is a sweet, poignant look at self-doubt in a relationship and at reaffirmation between partners who fall into the habit of taking each other for granted. Charity's fear that Amelia, the strong, unflappable love of her life, no longer finds her attractive is something that many long-term partners must sometimes wrestle with. I like how desperate Amelia is to prove to Charity that she's beautiful and irreplaceable and deeply loved - especially considering what we know of their canon fates (which also makes Charity's fellow-feeling for Snape rather painful). Here, at this moment, they cherish each other and have no care for the future - although I hope Charity washes the SleekEazy out of her hair as soon as possible!
