What a fascinating premise and a lovely story! Perverse Idyll above mentions that this is a love story outside of time, which is true, but it's also out of character in a novel and compelling way. You've cleverly set up a scenario that allows your main characters to step outside their established roles and reacquaint themselves with each other on new, more equal terms--Minerva free of the strictures of her professional relationship with Neville, and Neville free of the awkwardness and sense of shame and inexperience that he seems to feel around her. It's a scenario in which you can actually imagine them both opening up and looking at the other differently. Enjoyed! M.
