I remember reading this reply of yours a long time ago but now your store is recced at One bad man I read the comments again and I noticed I am still intrigued by your forecast. Why do you suspect the adjustments for them post war will be difficult?
My feelings about this are quite the opposite. I think the fact Hermione is now formally his keeper will give her emotionally the feeling they are more at equal footage. And if they would relocate to one of his other estates at the continent they can easily avoid the constant harassment from people who will undoubtedly thinking he has brainwashed her. And if they would travel as a family in the muggle world (I suppose they want to give their children some view of the world now they finally can leave the estate without danger)Yaxley would easily be able to blend in as a sort of older eccentric hippie with a younger wife and kids.
So it might be my optimistic nature, but I think the post war time can work out very well for all of them.
